We don't know what is going on behind the scenes but both parties could be interested in closing the matter early with a settlement. Can you imagine what would happen if tomorrow we get an RNS stating that PAT and the GoI have agreed on an amount of 10-15 times the current market cap?

This is not far fetched and it could come any day. Probably after the SOC has been deposited but who knows, it may happen even tomorrow..

PAT has now morphed into a completely different investment proposition compared to a few months ago. It is no longer a gold exploration company but purely a litigation instrument. We are no longer exploring, personell is reduced to the bare minimum, WA assets are no longer relevant (although I hope we can monetise them). New investors are here just to ride the very, very, very predictable rise between now, the SOC filing and the following steps of the litigation. Some will hold on to some or all of the golden tickets while others will simply pocket the easy money there is to be made over the next few months. That's why I topped up yesterday, albeit well above the 7p some lucky b. others paid.

Mark now needs to get out there and do a round of interviews and investors meetings. Fully funded and with the arbitration (or early settlement) on the way. A multibagger in the making.

Who is selling? It can't be just small private investors who got fed up with the lack of news.

@pbow, point taken, but we are 6% down today, not up. The market doesn't seem to be that impressed with the operational progress. I am confident the second tranche will be paid, hopefully without the need of a bridge loan, but do we really need to get to the last dollar before they reassure the market? I am really p off with this board

Another great update from a bunch of incompetent adventurers. They basically confirmed that they have done FA over the last few months and we are now down to the last $3M. Worst of all, there is no plan in sight. Deadlines are pushed forward, RNSs seem to be repeating themselves, we don't have a president, regionals are not being drilled nor sold.

They are doing their best to make a low ball offer palatable to the many exhausted private investors

@aimofthegame "better for some"? would you lend GCAT your savings for a year at 15%? I wouldn't!

I haven't got much trust in Robbie or GCAT anymore but if he's lending money to the company it's a good sign, it means that there is still hope for us shareholders to recover a portion of what we invested.

Since the SP was around 40p I keep hearing that someone is suppressing the SP, that MMs are playing games, that price is manipulated.. just stop it, ffs.

Like you I want to sell at £3 and retire early but I am tired of reading consipiracy theories. The big boys are not buying as there is no trust in this management, simples. You just need to read this snippet from an RNS of 2 years ago (23/2/23), it's our friend Scott talking:

Any other company currently involved in arbitration and that could rocket in the run up?

One I am watching closely is PAT which will soon indicate the size of their claim against the Indian government and that is currently valued around 1-3% of the possible claim amount..

Solid company, great business model, consistent revenues and dividends. Amazing dividend yield in an environment in which interest rates are coming down.

@fort I see the appeal for Endeavour to merge with SOLG but I am not sure how that would be better for us shareholders than a takeover. Also, how come you are so confident about this deal? or is it just speculation from your part?

@addicknt I tend to agree but there is no excuse for the terrible, terrible communication. Public engagement is shockingly bad, the twitter accounts spits irrelevant information, investor relations ignores emails from private investors. No wonder institutional investors are staying away. Where are the roadshows and the interviews? I understand that Scott is more at ease in a different environment and hopefully he's great as a project manager, but they don't necessarily need to send him in front of the public.

Let's hope the elections bring some stability and that some decent updates on permits, finance and monetisation of the regional portfolio push the SP back to double digits

Underwhelming presentation. Nothing particularly new, poor energy from Scott and Chris, moving goalposts, lots of mentions to the amazing regional portfolio for which there is no money to drill. They mentioned these licences a few times so perhaps some deals are being discussed in the background, either to secure funding or to spin them off

Very disappointing. I'll attend the webinar but won't bother with the meeting, I have zero confidence in this BoD. I don't want to waste more time on this share. Hopefully one day i'll see my money back..
