@fort i've been averaging down for ages but i am not getting increasingly nervous as there are no new large shareholders and the existing ones do not seem interested in filling their boots with the bargain of the century. In the meantime, we are not drilling and no short term catalyst is going to materialise. Very frustrating. BOD clearly out of their depth here

I agree with your points on WA. And it's true that on bido Mark said that drilling is unpredictable but also that "results are imminent". My hunch is that he already has a fair idea of what those results will be, both for bido and kalaka.

As for the farm in, you are probalby right, it's much more likely than a sale in this current environment. But if someone does the drilling on our behalf and we keep only x% of ownership, it would be a good outcome. The good news is that POG is now extremely attractive and unlikely to go down easily.

Good video. My takehome messages:

- by year end we should have the judge appointed and a first quantification of the claim submitted by Panthera

- results from Bido and Kalaka are due very soon, with Kalaka likely to show decent numbers, unlike Bido. The plan is to sell those assets. I am happy with that as a sale will significantly reduce ongoing costs and will ensure we are fully funded until the arbitration outcome.

Why what? He's been doing that every year. And 200k shares is nothing, much less than the average investor here.

@gallmat I agree with you. My point is that even by being extremely conservative, the valuation that comes up is a multiple of the current SP. We should be much higher than 7.5p. On top of that, we are fully funded for a while and we have very credible and experienced backers in our legal pursuit.

The only issue is that this thing may drag on for quite some time before we hit any milestone..

Allenby Capital have just released a new research note on PAT. The new valuation takes into account the news on the NOA and attributes just a 2.5% chance of success. This leads to a valuation of 31.25p.

Imagine if this probability increases to 10% where we could be.

Our current market cap gives us a near zero chance of success, which is absolutely ridiculous. 31p should be the absolute floor SP at this stage

Today we've broken out from the downward channel we've been since March.

Next resistance around 11.2, which we hit earlier today and got rejected. Once we get past that, hopefully this week, we'll been in a lateral channel that goes back to 2017. In a few weeks or months we could be attacking the upper boundary at around 35p

Decent rise today but this is just the beginning. The investment case is now more compelling and it's been strongly derisked. We can't expect the SP to double in a few hours on the back of a (great) RNS. Lots of small PIs have piled in but for the SP to rocket we need institutional investors and the big players who are watching SOLG closely to step in. But their timeframes are different, they are not jumping the gun because of today's news, which were pretty much factored in by insiders.

The real move will start when some fund takes a significant chunk of the chinese of BHP start to move. Will they want a large slice, one of the assets or the whole company? and if there's more than one of those actors involved, things can get hot very quickly. Time to sit back and wait..

Some folks here are spreading misinformation and fear. Let's clarify a few things:

- we are now fully funded and no longer desperate for cash, we can concentrate on advancing permitting and PFS whilst continuting negotiations with eventual interested parties

- funding is in tranches, takeover is certainly still possible but from a position of strenghts. A buyer would only have to give up a small part of the gold revenues

- due diligence by funders confirms the credibility of SOLG

- NO dilution

- funding is just for the gold. We have mountains of copper that have not been touched by this agreement

The hannam event is not important only in case you have some significant deal in your backpocket. Or you are so desperate and embarassed that you don't want to face public humiliation. I'd go for the first hypotesis as signing a 10M loan with such short maturity date must mean that we'll get some significant deal sorted before the 19th..

Agree, we could have used a punchier language to highlight the value of the asset and hence of the claim we will file at some point. By the way, are we still trying to negotiate with the GOI? This RNS is not going to help much..

We have just bounced from the bottom of a bullish consolidation channel. With some good news this can start moving up substantially. Fingers crossed

Why can't people stay on the subject and discuss the great potential of this company and invite the board to pull their finger out? Can their new PR guy get them to release some good quality information to attract new investors and reassure the existing ones?

Expected but someone knew the exact timing. Someone who offloaded at 6.5 to buy the new shares at 5.5.
