I am not an admirer of Scott or of the board but I am absolutely confident that finance has been sorted and that we'll soon seen an announcement. There is no way that they left this to the last minute. There is no way that Noboa would shake hands and promote our activities if he hadn't first been given reassurance about funding and about the strategy.

Well, it would be nice to have had such reassurance too, given the fact that we own a small piece of the company...

I am more and more convinced now that we are approaching the end game. Either a spin off or a full takeover are coming soon. In the meantime i keep averaging down.

Put yourself in the indian government's shoes, what would you like to see? You want a mine to be developed ASAP, bringing jobs and fiscal revenues. Only a medium to large mining company, with adequate financial capacity can deliver that. But who is going to offer a significant amount in an auction if the licence is still disputed and subject to legal uncertainty?

Well, maybe you could offer the tiny mining company that is taking your to court some cash to go away. Maybe something like 30% of the expected proceeds, which would be a multiple of the market cap of said company. Win-win.

Maybe Mark is negotiating and complaining that what is being offered ($100M? $200M) is not enough. I suspect we'll soon find out but I suspect the amount is going to be significantly lower than what we would get as a result of a settlement under the bilateral agreement. I'd be happy with that though

What concerns me is that operations were suspended for some time but we don't know for how long. Also, not a word on the funding. That's quite concerning as I doubt current production is sufficient to keep going. Come on Robbie, gives us some positive news on that front..

Exactly, Fort. Noboa signed only after having seen evidence of the plan unfolding and after having received precise reassurances on the funding. He can't afford to mess this up, his country can't afford it. And certainly the chinese or whoever is behind the scenes won't let this opportunity slip away. Shame they started to put the ducks in line with the SP at 6p and not at 20p or more..

I remember people ridiculing me for suggesting to vote against Scott's confirmation in December. Are you happy now or are you waiting for 5p for another top up?

The Patels are clearly struggling. Several opportunistic buys came on board purely to speculate on an improved offer or a competing bid and the Patels saw their house of cards collapsing. They worked hard to keep a lid on the SP and steal the company from us on the cheap but it's clear that most shareholders won't accept 13.65p or even 15p.

I am sure they had conversations with several large shareholders and if 15p were enough, they would have proposed that today and sealed the deal.

My feeling is that it will take way more than that to buy the company and the Patels are now scrambling around to see if they can put together more money or come up with a plan B. The slimy fux will need to go at least to 18p or walk away

If there's an improved offer i'll be happy, if the deal sinks the SP will retrace a bit and i'll buy more at a discount

Just wondering, if you were a company interested in making a better offer... when would it be the best time to strike? Before or after the vote? If i knew the current offer were to be voted down, i would wait as the SP would likely dip and investors would take any improved offer, otherwise i would probably move forward now. Thoughts?

They sound desperate. I guess the vote is not going the way they were expecting..
