Hi Aidinandabettin, thanks for watching the 2nd presentation. Paddy has provided a good answer but i'll add a further couple of points.

Granites have variable magnetic signatures depending on their composition. In the Paterson, the granites are dominantly "I-type", oxidized granites which contain the mineral magnetite. As you've probably guessed, magnetite is magnetic haha. So around Telfer the magnetic anomalies are the granites. Geologists discovered the Telfer deposit when they found mineralized rocks at the surface. Havieron is much deeper under cover than Telfer so we have to use geophysical methods to explore.

The magnetic anomaly at Havieron is thought to be caused by the pyrrhotite like Paddy said. This is found in appreciable amounts at Havieron compared to Telfer. Telfer doesn't have a strong magnetic signature because it is distant from the granite and contains no large amount of magnetic minerals. The pyrrhotite has no bearing on releasing metals

It's worth mentioning Prof David Groves is a world-leading economic geologist. He has published numerous highly cited pieces of work and alongside a couple others helped to define IOCG systems. Basically he knows his stuff haha.

1. Yes, I think there's a chance that at 1500m we have mineralization. Our deepest intercept I believe is 1200m but given the model, we could see some grades at 1500m if we drill that far

2. I think in general, drilling in the NW and at depth till we get nothing or uneconomic levels should be the way to go.

3. That's a very good question. Firstly I think there's evidence for a stronger magmatic-hydrothermal input at Havieron than Telfer which may contribute to better grades. The PuntaPunta formation is more carbonate rich than the Malu Formation generally, which may provide a better lithological control on mineralization. Also carbonates are more reactive and so the interaction with the fluids may change the geochemistry that favours Au-Cu precipitation. The ore fluid present at Havieron might have been more effective at leaching metals from the sediments. A fair few possibilities

Thanks guys! If I do decide to do another its likely to be on another one of GGP's projects like Scallywag although the geology I would think would be very similar. The other projects at Black Hills and Ernest Giles might be good, expecially the latter which is within the Yilgarn which I also know fairly well

Schleimel - I think we'll see some mineralization in a few of the holes stepping out NW. The furthest hole I know of drilled NW in the past by Newcrest is HAC9503 and that had a small intercept but in my presentation its one of the holes that defines the perimeter of the deposit in my view. But basically, keep drilling until you get nothing haha

Hi everyone

So we've had Paddysat, we've had some attention on twitter and obviously earlier this week (and still on the site) the interview with GH by LSE.

I've been working on a 2nd presentation this past week. It's currently uploading to YT. I will post the link once it is done. I hope this 2nd one builds on the first in an informative and beneficial way. It is more in depth and some parts will be a little hard in places. But if you have watched the first, you should be in decent shape to follow this one. I hope you enjoy it

Specific gravity varies with rock type, I didn't mention it in the first presentation. This website shows you the range of specific gravity for different rock types. The host rock for mineralization at Telfer and Havieron is a mix but I would use the sandstone upper limit.

I was never taught about how to estimate the specific gravity of a rock unit especially with mineralization present. I'd maybe round to 3 and use that. It's something I'd also like to know for the future should I become a resource geologist

I'm currently preparing another, much more in depth presentation. So it's important people watch that one because this next one goes up a gear or two

I can't answer all of this but have a few answers. The 2Mt is I think based on the high grade stoping mining technique that is used and this number is a typical tonnage extracted using that method. I think the higher amount of throughput at Telfer is a result of multiple mining techniques. The 10x higher grades at Hav wrt to Telfer that SB was talking about is within the sulfide zone and will likely be 10x the grade at Telfer like you say. Off the top of my head I cannot remember the dimensions and over the years, subsequent reports have changed this when new drill information is released. However depth could be up to 1200m at this present stage with the latest results. Hope that helps a tad and hopefully someone can clarify the dimensions. You seem interested in doing your own calculation so would be cool to see the result :)
