On their current image you might see the beginnings of an oval. But we know there is step out further NW so I'd await to see results on that. Not much information about the structure at depth. Current thoughts are if this is analogous to Telfer, we will have an anitcline and a series of folds. With that structure in place, the sulphide may follow the folds and could tuck round the back but I think its going further than where HAD066 is. Without knowing anything about the structural geology at depth in 3 dimensions its purely hypothetical. For me its clearer now with HAD066 that the sulphide zone is extended and appears at a very similar depth to other holes so for me makes the inference the sulphide zone is layer parallel.

Yes agreed Tig, no mention of Scally yet. I can only think that's because they haven't even had time to work on it properly due to Covid and their focus on Hav with NCM. Very exciting once the first set of results comes through for that and work properly started

This is a fantastic image to keep somewhere in your mind or computer folks. What this shows is increased step out further than the reported HAD066. which NCM haven't said anything about yet. Such an advantage being able to see the activity on the ground in relation to whats already been completed

I'll be back for further comments in the morning but as my subject line says I'm glad I stayed up. Best drill result to date with HAD059 intercepting 109m @ 6.31g/t Au and 0.71% Cu with just over half that at 55.4m @ 11g/t Au. These grades are off the scale! Furthermore, there is confirmed mineralization in the step out to the NW at HAD066 and by the looks of it there are results still pending here. We got some more info on the cross-sections which i've yet to fully analyse. We have some more info on the sulphide zone and breccia. Looking forward to GGP release in the morning

Hi everyone

I've tried to keep up with the BB but its so difficult with so many posts and being busier with other commitments. However since last week, GGP has been great to watch rising from mid 9's to now mid 11's and touching the Numis 12p price target. Furthermore we are being admitted to the FTSE AIM 100 Index as of Monday 22nd June. We are approaching the time where the next updates are due for release based on the target of news every 6 weeks. Newcrest have had a recent buy recommendation from UBS and are expected interim results from them next week. The work from Paddy has highlighted activity in the NW and his coverage continues to be of great value to everyone here on the BB and wider investor community. If you haven't been up to date - go to his twitter @Paddygall1. Lastly, if you check out the latest Artemis presentation they highlight the Havieron project extensively and have provided some comments on the interpretation that fit in with the current exploration model I and others subscribe to here.

The only downsides I can see in the near term is that the gold price is starting to make a potential temporary retracement. However in the long run, gold is still bullish and shouldn't be an issue. Also the expected drill results as i've highlighted before could be just as incredible as previous results or not so much. If it is the latter, it shouldn't be viewed as a negative because all it has done is further define the extent of the project and hence we are one step closer to the full MRE. Ideally though, the more gold the better haha. Last point i'd like to make is to try not to worry about the daily price fluctuations too much and certainly the more negative posters that occasionally frequent our BB. If nobody replies to them, then they get no attention and will be buried among our very own tailings dam of positive posts!

Overall this has been a fantastic journey for me so far in the short time I've been invested here. This BB for the most part is very informative and friendly if not a tad overwhelming at times with the number of posts haha. I hope I haven't missed any other big news or articles recently. Likewise I'm sure there are many other good contributions I haven't seen to make comment on. Keep up the good work everyone, stay patient and lets look forward to the bigger rewards to come!

I'd like to say 12p or higher for next Friday. Would be nice to keep pushing new highs. One potential downward pressure is the gold price. It's started to retrace a little bit and may go back temporarily to $1620 ish which is previous support in its big move upwards. However in the long run, gold is very bullish and so even if that were to happen gold should continue its uptrend over time. Therefore in reality these price fluctuations are not a big issue for GGP and other gold miners.

Yes Paddy, I don't think its of great significance. The only effect it might have is remobilization of the metals but considering our drillhole results this doesn't seem to be the case at least on the macro-scale. All it seems to do is like Launder says, divides the mineralized horizons into two. Also you are following correctly Aidin except the intrusion doesn't appear to enhance the mineralization :)

Yes PhD work and other commitments have taken over, its been nice to take a back seat and watch everything unfold beautifully. Ok so i've had a look at the Artemis presentation yesterday. If you look at the magnetic anomaly map on Artemis website (slide 22 on the presentation), you can see that Havieron sits right on the splay fault that the airborne magnetics picks out nicely. I'm interested to know why its a splay fault, what evidence the Artemis team has for it and the direction of movement? The Havieron Fault isn't an issue, its a known thrust fault and the GSWA have it marked on their maps.

What is confirmed however is that the unmineralised mafic dyke lines up with the interpreted splay fault. Dykes will follow fault lines as its a path of least resistance, as will fluids. It will be interesting to see if the dyke extends along the feature as it could be a region-wide feature. For me the fact the airborne magnetics picks out such a linear feature suggests that the dyke is present throughout and has cross-cut the Neoproterozoic Lamil Group stratigraphy that contains the mineralization.

If that idea holds true, the breccia zone will be found quite extensively in the centre of the horseshoe. That's a lot of material and could make the breccia's low grade ore more economical. As usual that's not verified

I would assume its part of the 80km drilling. Drilling deeper will form part of that and changing the angle of the drill to better understand the geometry of the deposit. After they are satisfied they will move to a different part. That's at least what I would think they are doing :)

Nice work. The trend of the anticlines regionally appears to follow NW-SE like Hydrogen says. The Paterson has plenty of thrust faults and so a change in orientation for local anticlines may be attributed to that. I think the drilling in the NW is part of the step out. There are numerous outcomes to that. If we get low intervals like HAC9503 it may be the limit of the deposit but if we get the same as what we're seeing then of course we haven't reached the periphery yet. The former isn't a bad result, if anything it pushes the project onwards because now you have a limit.

I agree with Hydrogen. The intercept is recorded in the 1995 report and states that the intercept is 1.1m @ 15.45g/t Au from 429m. That is within the same intercept reported in the 2005 report as 2.6m @ 9.4g/t from 427m. Basically its an isolated small section with higher grades. It's not really deemed too significant because 2m isn't a large interval. However at the time it would have been fairly significant because it confirms that there is potentially high gold grades present - which we now know to be true. It was worth bringing up anyway Hopefullygold :)

Good to see some soil geochem working in the Paterson. Their results add extra support for the mineralizing model we have in the region
