you are correct but this second placing has totally changed the mood, if these were such strong prospect why raise now for wells which are not to be drilled till next year?

I really hope they do strike and matd becomes a huge hit.

If im honest i dont rate the snow leopard prospect compared to the fox prospect. Im very confident they will strike in the fox next year. This recent placing has confused me, char did a placing before spud and that was a duster. Im superstitious. :-) fox has a proven working petroleum system..

I dont think the mkt fully understands the company, fantastic opportunity here. Its best they find farm in partner as soon as possible they are bery dissapointed where the sp is currently.

I am not saying TGL is better investment than SDX or vice versa, its another oiley which has migrated from the TSX and joined aim.

Facts are both are good investments, both have assets in Egypt and both are cash flow positive, while sdx is making c.3.5m per month, tgl is making over 6m per month.

TGL has 2p reserves 47m boe and producing 15kboepd with 95% oil, yet a mkt cap of only 130m.

I hold both, time will tell which will do better for us retail investors.

I must admit i didnt expect it to go below 3p again. Mkt believe they wont get farm in at the moment, i believe they will.

the question is will these guys actually drill or make some other visa excuse while they try to raise more funds yet again, just cant trust them.

Cant believe for weeks and months we are fully funded etc etc and then they do this.

im holder here, just a little frustrated with deadlines being missed, the mkt is unforgiving at times, still believe they will drill late aug.

I hold equal amount in both SDX and TGL, just very similar stocks both hold acreage in Egypt.

There isnt a board on TGL yet as it will list on friday.

So apologies if i offended i will not mention TGL on this board again.

Go on read the corporate presentation,

"Estimated Market Value of Inventoried Crude Oil of ~1.0 MMbbls (03/31/18) $57m"

They purchased additional asset in Canada for $60m without diluting shareholders in Dec 2016. So you are putting wrong data intentionally.

2017 the oil price was low now it has recovered.

spudding the last well at SD this month, whats interesting is that Paul Welch said that 600bopd of condensates will be produced from the wells they have drilled.

they have 1m barrels of oil in inventory which is valued at $57m AND they produce 15Kboepd with 95% of that oil. In Dec 16 they purchased canadian asset for $60m bith that at the right time when oil was cheap, so now they have assets in Egypt and Canada. Mkt cap £130m.

Im going to keep hold of both stock, not going to choose between the two. At present i can see TGL cashflow positive of $60m per annum and sdx 40m per annum. Both have similar mkt cap.

Harts Apologies, there isnt a tgl thread yet, its a stock which has assets in egypt. I only mention it because its listing on aim this friday. Like Darola mentions its got mkt cap of £130m, compare that to the likes of amer which produces 5000bopd and has mkt cap of 190m. Tgl has over 1m barrels of oil in inventories, that is valued at $57m. Unlike sdx they have no receivable issues as they export their oil from egypt. They dont have to sell to state. So far two liftings taken place of c.400k barrel of oil each, which got them c.$52m in sales. Another two liftings taking place this year. They purchased canadian asset in dec 16, for $60m. All in all you get all this for £130m mkt cap, looks cheap..

Another Canadian Oil producer joining aim on Friday Transglobe energy, looking forward to it, mkt cap is only 120m and they produce near 15kboepd, majority oil. Bit of competition for SDX.

TransGlobe is an independent international upstream oil and gas company with headquarters in Calgary, Canada, whose main business activities consist of the exploration, development and production of crude oil and natural gas liquids. The Company currently has exploration and production operations in the Arab Republic of Egypt and Canada. In Egypt, the Company currently holds a 100% interest in six (6) PSCs: West Gharib, West Bakr, NW Gharib, South Alamein, South Ghazalat and NW Sitra. Canadian operations are in west central Alberta, Canada, where the Company owns production and working interests in certain Cardium light and Mannville liquids-rich gas fields in the Harmattan area. Idien is adamant they will drill one well this year, i can see this happening, the CPR will help with the already great interest in the asset.

So 20% acreage has 2c contingent resource of 12.3mmboe with gas accounting for 1 quarter of that resource. A post tax NPV of 86.9m has been estimated. COS is like they are appraisal wells and not ezploration.

Super Roty The 3d data has significantly derisked the acreage, 75% COS was expected. They only did cpr on one horizon and this horizon is very evident in other parts of the acreage and without those areas 3d they cannot put a number on 2c resource. Nevertheless look at rose mkt cap and the asset they hold its undervalued.

Usa investors love shale prospects domestically, the acreage has significantly been derisked and i disagree that once farm in signed this will be 5p, share price will be alot higher. Cpr was very very good.
