Not long to find out, only drilling 6000ft so wont take long to get to TD.

Its interesting, looking at 3d seismic at the basal kes fm there was good seismic response in ibn yunus, sobhi and warda fields.

There wasnt any at the salah target, which was main formation they were targeting in salah, as they got 1.7 net pay in basal kes fm and 1m net pay abu madi formation.

I must say the 3d seismic looks very good for the hanut well. Next few weeks will be interesting here...

Sdx uses its cashflow for drilling and we know there is no risk of placings.

Hopefully sentiment will return here.

I must say the PR is really poor for this company.

You only have to look at some exploration companies who have higher mkt cap than sdx and have no production.

How the hell can sdx be trading to a massive discount to NPV.

Not to mention they also have close to $10m in bank. Revenue of $51m, CF of $33m and EV of $33m its insane...

Board need to go if they cant produce shareholder value.

They say the structure is very similar to the ibn yunus and sobhi find. Remember they are only drilling to 5000ft, they can reach td in couple of weeks, so we can know very soon if the well finds gas. So it wont be a months wait.

Question is how similar is this to the salah well, that was suppose to have 70bcf but was found not to have commercial quantities.

EV of c£24m only on a company which generates over $33m cash flow per annum.

If hanut comes in the reward is juicy, if it doesnt the downside is limited.

This stock is cheap..

Listen its tough mkt at the moment quite a number of companies have been force to do discounted placing if you have issues raise it with brokers.

Dont blame the company at all, matd always said they will raise funds after el, they dont control price the mms do....

Covid is here to stay, we already have a spike after he opened up the clubs last week. Testing will be required for years, what concerning is that gdr are not selling any test, this is almost criminal. On paper they have the best test with its ease of use but yet ther is no takers, why is this?

Fda have not issued any new eua for quite some time, gdr will have to target new geographies and maybe adjust prices.

Funding will likely be an issue and gettin a placing done in aim is around 30% discount. Number of companies have been forced to do heavily discounted placings recently...

Looks like they have issued plenty of eua's and fda dont seem to be wanting to issue anymore.

Ask yourself when was the last pcr test eua issued by fda? I believe funding maybe required in short term..

Looks like fda wont be issuing one to gdr.

Its evident matd would prefer to have a partner with developing block xx, if petrochina dont give them a good deal they can walk away.

Petrochina will know this and will be aware of the refinery being close to completion also.

I think in the next 6 months very good chance of jv between both parties.
