The block xx is valuable to matd, with wells only costing $1m this company wont goto nil.

Petrochina have been playing long game hoping matd go bankrupt and they take the asset on the cheap it hasnt happened and it wont.

Heron field has NPV of $150m, just the field not any of the other blocks, yet here we have fully funded company with licenses only valued at 30m.

Great post. The only complaint i have is that last year they planned to drill appraisal wells in q3 2020 subject to EL why are they not drilling in q3 in this year considering they have funds.

Who knows they may even drill in q3 this year as they said production by mid 2022. Q4 and q1 2022 is wintery conditions.

Ok, so a placing at 8p for £10m would have resulted 125m new shares. Mkt cap at 8p a share would be 64m.

Now we raising £10m with open offer shares at 3.5p, thats 245m new shares yet current mkt cap will be 31m. So clearly its a multibagger from what you are saying after funding.

Placing done, its tough to raise at the moment.

Averaged down, mkts are crazy at the moment.

3p, 3.22p, 3.5p whats the damn difference in the grand scheme of things. Placings happened, matd will get into production now.

I think petrochina have been trying to get a cheap deal done considering matd past financials, now wont be the case as it gives matd stronger footing in the negotiations.

Rather interesting that 62% of the structure lays on our side. Petrochina have drilled a few wells on their side but they havent fully developed it, they hoped Matd wouldnt find it and give up and then maybe take it up on the free.

I think a JV is more likely with petrochina in this block now. Mike had stated between $10m-$15m can get matd started. Just so much potential, NPV on this structure alone is $150m.

Those large western blocks are material and can be world class.
