Is the Fat Lady available?7 Dec 2025 10:17
I think Predator will proceed with Mou-6, or at least make out they are near to drilling. This would put pressure on any would-be buyer.
In a way it's a calculated gamble for both parties. Success for Predator and the price goes through the roof.
It would also alert the media and the big companies to the gas potential as a whole.
Failure and we may well be squeezed on pricing, resulting in Paul pulling out from negotiations and a price drop and delays.
I'm hoping we can reach a beneficial agreement that works for both companies.
We should be drilling Mou-6 very soon!
Initially, Paul will use the on-coming drill in his negotiating strategy.
It's our potential jackpot in the development of this asset.
I have been posting, in the last few weeks, as much information as I can find on the actual gas readings show in the logs, along with potential gas bearing sands.
There are multiple readings showing gas.
There is also Helium potential.
This is a repost, in part, of KeithOz's excellent summary:
"PRD are employing an additional world-class outfit, Italfluid. They were not involved in prior well testing, only the most recent attempt. They are in agreement with Paul that the prevention of gas flow is the result of formation damage. More importantly, they have been able to identify and quantify the exact cause of the problem and thus propose an overall well design and completion that will not cause formation damage, and allow gas to flow freely from the extremely fine grained and unconsolidated reservoirs."
My observation:
Predator, Italfluid and Predator's well engineer have all said the gas can flow with the correct drilling technics. The available technical data shows gas and more importantly, where and how, to drill.
The mud issue was problematic but there is no denying that there is gas in the sands.
ONHYM have recruited:
Drilling and Oil Production Technicians,
Reservoir Engineer,
Oil Exploration Geologist.
Is the timing just a coincidence? I'm sure they are aware of what's in the sands and Predator's potential.
What is an acceptable sale price, with the existing data only?
Certainly higher with a Mou-6 success.
Maybe, if Paul can get a smaller, but acceptable sum, with royalties, then a deal could be struck?
With the added Trinidad build up and a potential liability claim in Ireland, I feel this is the right time to be invested here.
But of course, DYOR!
