I am looking at the low entry price as a way of making money. I have also lost on this share so far. However I see a good long term opitunity.
If I want to I will buy in and lower my average. Then if I want to I will sell or hold. That is my choice. The reason I quote my average is to show that there is great potential in this share and buying at a low point is potentially rewarding.
I don't need bitter and twisted people telling me that I'm spouting rubbish. Personal insults show a person trading on emotions.
There is a filter button. Simply use that option if your hatred of anyone making money offends you.
Maybe the stock market is not for you.
And please don't go into some long rambling reply as I've filtered you.
If you read though posters history you quicky discover if they add to your reasearch with something relevant or simply like to complain and bicker.
Another one filtered.
We are still very much in a situation where we need to show some testing data to the interested party's. They are certainly keeping a watchful eye of our asset.
We have raised money to test and they will require at least some of the data to move to the next stage. Paul is certainly confident.
The testing has not started and the market is aware of this, hence no real investment and a lower share price. People see a falling price and panic. Stop losses are taken out.
Investors and traders know it's going to be a few weeks before the testing impacts the share value so they wait. Others will try to mitipulate. It's normal.
Meanwhile it only takes one positive bit of news (Ireland?) to send this soaring.
Once testing starts and initial data is accumulated then the market will react. Prices will rise and traders will jump on board.
Then we will see fireworks π
Two weeks !
Good summery Hepseal!
Q3 figure should be solid.
What is then needed is news on projects that will add value.
Make enough money and you can add new wells to the production.
This in turn drives up the profit to ramp up the program.
Not there yet and unless addition programs are implemented, we will have to be patient.
Gut feeling is in two weeks time this share will move upwards as the testing will of started .
There is a window of mischievous opportunities available, in the uncertainties of the wait, before the testing starts. I will take no notice of the none stop FUD.
Until the market is certain that the testing has started we will see this kind of trading.
I'm happy with holding as my reasearch shows that if I'm patient I should be rewarded. The stock market is about believing in your own research and knowing when to trade. Other people's opinions, unless backed up with reasearch, are just opinions!
Wacky's and Jimmy's excellent posts yesterday were confirmation that others also see value.
Have a great day !
Best of both worlds. Start with conventional then finish off at a later date with sand jet.
A follow-up Sandjet testing programme will take place later to test other reservoir intervals that are likely to respond better to the Sandjet perforating technique compared to conventional perforating guns.
Question:
Why are we in discussions to sell gas on a larger scale than was previously envisaged?
Answer:
Because Predator will have a large amount of gas to sell.
Step back for a minute and enjoy letting that simple statement sink in.
π¦π¦π¦π¦π¦π¦π¦π¦
The update was certainly needed. Now we can relax and wait for events to unfold.
Paul Griffiths, Executive Chairman of Predator, commented:
"Following the completion of drilling and prior to the execution of the rigless testing programme the Company has had a period of time to integrate the results from its MOU-1, MOU-2, MOU-3 and MOU-4 wells and mature its understanding of the structures holding possible gas accumulations. On this basis the MOU-3 well and structure is now defined as the focal point for a potential CNG development hub. As a result this well has been promoted to the first well in the rigless testing programme.
Good progress has been made on opening discussions for the offtake of gas on a larger scale than was previously envisaged by the "Proof of CNG Pilot Concept" strategy.
Financing options are being crystallised which will allow funds to be re-purposed for further appraisal drilling activity and value accretion through drilling success."
Q3 2021 was on the 7th.
Q3 2022 was on the 13th.
Not long to wait.
We can then see what money they will have available for the next drill. We will also get an indication as to likely profit or loss generated. It should be a small but healthy profit.
I hope they inform us as to why the was a drop off in production. Was it over all the wells ? I would appreciate the outputs from each individual well and the reason for the decline.
Following on from Q3 we need news on actual dates when they are going to continue/start the various projects.
Without start dates or news there is nothing to move this share along.
π ...... π²......π¦......
Will shut up now !
Pred fan.....
Appreciate your speculation, but that's all it is, pure speculation.
Nothing in the current price action suggests there is anything going on behind the scenes of note, you say, for the 4th time.
Perhaps there just isn't anything to report from the board other than a deal in the making. If that's so. Predator will have no intention of informing you or the market.
Hence no movement........
Not the whole company, just Morocco. The value offered for Trinidad would not be much . On Ireland it is getting interesting but again the timing is not right. But to sell it all and retired to the sun π .... interesting thought π€
Boff. I appreciate your views but feel you have become bitter and twisted as your holding has lost you money. Your hatred of PH is such that every post you write is full of negitivity. You were so desperate to ouste him that you refused to see the danger of the Scottish asset strippers . Luckily the majority understood their intention.
None of us are happy loosing money. We also feel that, in the communication side, he is somewhat lacking. However he is also a shareholder.
Q3 will give me a better understanding of where we are as a company. If we had not had the fall off in production this share would be higher. It's why we are frustrated at the apparent slowness between drills.
As a short term hold this share offers little benifit, unless news drops. The share value reflects this.
As a long term hold I am looking at entry prices. I will not dismiss the option to purchase a large amount of shares to hold at a low average.
We have 4 projects and the company are in a great position. At some point the various projects will add value. I want to be fully loaded when that happens.
Not an easy time for us but I do believe that given more time we will see a reward.
After 4 years I certainly hope so haha π
Does anyone honestly think Predator are doing nothing in Morroco?
We raised 10mil.
We all the know the potential is there.
Even if the delay in communication is, because we are still waiting for a testing part to arrive.
Does anyone really believe that predator will NOT do the testing, unless we no longer need to?
I'm sure we are using the available time to be in negotiations with various companies?
It was clear that there was insider knowledge being shared. We have also had news used against us on the initial MOU-4 result.
If I was Paul I would tell NO ONE, outside of his inner circle of advisors, about anything, unless legally obligated.
Deter any hostile intentions and leaks.
Hence no real volume is trading as we have no news.
Personal I think the longer the media blackout continues the better it is for us shareholders.
Paul is looking at the overall concept that is Predator, that also includes Trinidad and Ireland. The reasearch available, documented RNS's and interviews are there for all to read.
That's why we are here!
On the 31st of July we had the placement announcement. It was leaked earlier in that week. Insider trading at its worse.
Predator wrote:
The net proceeds of the Placing will be used for completion of an extended rigless testing programme for MOU-1, MOU-3 and MOU-4, commencement of CNG development studies and tendering for long lead items, residual MOU-4 well costs and general working capital.
I wonder what long lead items he is talking about. Also, he talks about MOU-4 residual work.
Since the placement the share has stayed around the same value . There was, once again, large sells that kept us at this price range.
That's almost 2 months ago.
We have had various RNS's since then. In one it promised "testing finished end of September". I think that was for MOU-1 only.
With a lack of information all we can do is wait. In that time we are free to offer up our personal views about the radio silence. It could be simply a delay or the company does not wish to inform us about the testing until it suits their needs.
It is well documented that PG wants to sell up if he can get the right price.
The talk about it just being a delay or it's because of negotiations are both totally plausible.
What is happening is Paul will be constantly looking at any opitunity to get nearer to the end game. He will be talking to the larger companies, they are certainly interested.
Meanwhile if Paul wants the testing to go ahead then it will happen. It's funded and ready to go.
As for when we will be informed is anyone's guess. But I'm an patient and luckily in the blue. I appreciate it's harder if your in the red.
I am happy waiting.......
There is a risk .......
But there is a reward π¦π¦π¦π¦π¦π¦
If there was simply a delay in getting the materials needed to start the testing I'm sure we would of been informed. If the testing has not started then PG will have a very good reason.
On a separate note, did we find a solution to the MOU-2 mud problem. I think a lab in Aberdeen was looking at the samples.
Let's assume that there is negotiations in progress. This has been ongoing for a long time. Early feedback was that the big boys were not willing to do a serious deal.
Paul knew that we needed additional wells and a larger amount of gas bearing sands, available for testing. He also knew that we needed money in the bank and a clear path forward.
The finance is in place.
A company has been hired to carry out the testing.
151mts of sand is ready to test and analyse.
We also have multiple places of interest to drill. The potential is massive.
We are debt free.
My question is one of time scale. Is our hand strong enough to get a deal though?
If the deal is not to Paul's liking then we can still expand the business. We could set up an CNG business. Or we could drill more wells and continue the testing program. As stated by other posters, this is our Ace. We are not desperate and our potential is off the scale.
I'm guessing it's a balance between wanting to get the best possible deal in the shortest possible time.
What's people's thoughts on how long a deal can take. If both sides feel that they can gain from a deal, that is potentially, in the advanced negotiation stage, what would be the time scale?
Really ?
We have funding and a company in place to do the testing.
I think no news means something is going on behind closed doors. Therefore no news is good news!
MΓ‘laga is a great place. I retired to a town called Santa Pola. It's near Alicante.
Golf is looking good unless your American.
Enjoy !
I was hoping, as a new investor, that I could start reading various posters viewpoint on this share. I am researching of course but I always enjoy reading people's views.
Since my last post there has been 21 posts, all about one person. Not a single article about this company.
He is totally manipulating this BB so that no posts of any substance are written. That's his agenda. He is useless in most respects but he is good at getting people to reply and flood the pages with replies to his garbage.
I found that totally ignoring him and changing the thread headline helped as did posting factual information and parts of previous RNS's that corrected his scaremongering tactics. All with no mention of his name. Then when new investors log on then can read things that are of value to anyone wanting to add to their reasearch.
I would appreciate reading any article that you think would be of value.
All said and done there is usually a reason why these trolls latch on to a share. Normally it's because there is money to be made. But sometimes they get so wrapped up in their egos that they become blind to positive news.
He is pathetic but people still subscribe to his awful blog. Such is life.
Rant over and back to the spainish sunshine!
