January24, HUM have no control over the price of gold. They do however have control over the output from the mine. We are looking for higher output in Q3 compared to Q2 which will naturally bring AISC down. They fact they would have had the benefit of higher grades they will have no excuses for any negativity imho

Darren123, you should have been asking that question 12/18 months ago. When the $ rollsover gold will shine. In 12 months time if HUM deliver you will not be paying 7p per share. It's hard to stomach what is currently happening but times will change

In terms of 3rd Q I just want to see production improve. That will help AISC. HUM can't do anything about the price of gold but they can at least get their house in order.

Impossible to say if we have seen the bottom but I believe these prices will look good in 12 months time.

So you think their current AISC is $1200? I think you'll find the reality somewhat different. Agree potential is here, and in many goldies, but it ain't that simple. I wish it was. Let's get to 25k production first

Timing would be perfect for a predictor to strike before the current mine issues are resolved and before the 2nd mine comes into operation. Only concern I'd have is the price. They could probably get away with 10p in the current environment.

I'd rather wait for HUM to bring the 2nd mine online and producing approx 200k a year with gold over 2k

Not if your outlook is longer than the end of the week. I believe when the dust settles these prices will be hard to believe. Keep accumulating at these prices

That's the dilemma. If we get to production of over 200k with gold over 2k and aisc around 1400-1500 then the SP will be multiples of today's price imho. A few ifs I appreciate but nothing that isn't achievable. Gold sector currently out of favour but that will change at some point

I think that's a fair assumption Darren. Ore mined with the additional excavators should be a minimum of 500,000t per q as they didn't have the benefit of all of them for the entire q.
I wonder how much of that they can process in a q? But they are keeping guidance so must be confident of meeting 24k per q. That alone will bring AISC down.
Did another top up this morning. Will wait for further news before committing any more

I stick by my prediction of short-term pullback in SP but believe it will be short lived. Guidance maintained for full year so min of 24k each quarter to meet. Largely a fixed cost business so the higher the output the lower the AISC.
Just need gold to stay over $1800 and we will be good. Patience

Anon3, I agree the company needs to sort itself out. The issues are fixable even with the current management in place. They will be fully aware that they are running out of goodwill.
Get the AISC of existing mine below $1600 for this year with gold over $1800 and production around 90-100k.
Build new mine on time and on budget and you have a 200k production for less than 70million. Granted we will have approx 100million of debt in there as well but fcf will be amazing allowing them to repay the debt quickly.(They have proved their ability to do this already). If gold goes through 2k then it looks even better.
You can look at history if you like but it can't be changed. The future is where I look and that is where the opportunity is to make multiples of the existing SP. Let's see what happens

At some point they have to stop the banana skins and start providing evidence we are moving in the right direction. We will know next week if Q1 is the start or if we will have to wait until Q2.
Market is probably expecting the worst so anything that appears to be positive will see us nearer 20p imho. If bad news then maybe a revisit to 15/16p but that will be brief as this is going to be a 200k producer in around 12/18 months time
