You would have to be mad to hedge at these prices when gold is expected to go much higher.

This company has way too many chiefs. Gold went up on Friday and this fell. Not saying this won't come good, I personally believe it will, but it won't be as a result of the board. A rising tide lifts all boats.
Remember they work for US, the shareholders. If you performed as bad as they had in the last few years would you still be employed?

There is an opportunity here to make money but it's not without risk as we all know. I've said it before HUM reminds me of AAZ back in 2015 when it was saddled with debt and managed to clear that debt quickly following a rising gold price. The impact on the SP was dramatic. We could potentially see that here with 200k per year and a gold price around current prices but expected to go higher.
I would point out that AAZ management are 100% aligned with shareholders whereas that's not the case here unfortunately.

They seemed to drop the "on budget" reference in the last Q RNS. This board needs replacing imho

Q4 price is irrelevant now. What's important is they have proved they can do north of 25k and gold is $100 north of Q4 so all good from that pov.

Guys, Find me a gold explorer that hasn't had their SP decimated in recent times!
If you are a believer, and by being here I assume you are, then maybe this is an opportunity to pick some shares up for a song.
No point piling in when the SP is 2p.
Gold producers are moving in the right direction. Explorers will follow. If we get new ATH's in gold this year as expected then these prices will look silly

We're going to find out either way in the next week. The turnaround, if/when, it arrives could have a very positive impact on the SP.

Whilst that article is a few weeks old it certainly seems to have attracted some buyers. If we see Q4 perform well and the new mine is on track and budget we will get a few more buyers no doubt.

Probably one of the cheapest gold plays on LSE. Just think 200k at over $1900. Debt will melt away

I would imagine a few have come to the same conclusion. Management did some buys part way through Q4. That should have been the signal things are back on track. Now gold is nearly $1900 that will do no harm. Get the 2nd mine online and on budget and we potentially have a company producing 200k a year. The potential is massive but not without risks. I favour the former

Nothing Guaranteed in this world other than death and taxes. If they do pull it off then we will be multiples of the current sp. I'd say 70% chance of success
