No amount of preparation or advance shipments could have stopped somebody holding up a shipment waiting for a bribe but never saying the word bribe . A protracted dance of two weeks was needed to get to the “government fee in cash” request. And this was a small shipment .Certain territories are like that. Morocco certainly is .

I once did a big job in Morocco in an unrelated sector and had to deal with customs . They were extremely difficult to deal with and I won’t say corrupt but in the end a large “government fee” in cash had to be paid , so don’t blame QFI too quickly. Out of interest , how do you get to a figure of £1+ ? I’m genuinely interested in how people visualise the possibilities . Like why not £5 per share ? Is that an insane number ? I’m just trying to get some perspective.

Thank you . This is all very helpful . In asking about comparable companies I was thinking of rivals in the same sector but I suppose what QFI do is so specific and so specialised , there isn’t anyone particularly positioned as them right now to compare to .

So how are their shares doing ?

Are there any companies who have had a similar trajectory to QFI and eventually went commercial and what did that do tho the share price ?

So what does this mean ? Disaster or great news for QFI ?
