Hopefully tomorrow will carry on stable over 3p.

The difference being mxo are looking for assets, we are awaiting the outcome on ones our rich backer wants in on.

They could have bought in on the off-chance that block 6 get re-ratified in our favour. Imo they already know it will be.

It's likely this is the other 9.9%.

The takeover rules cover groups that could be argued to have collective control.

A unified group of outside investors probably falls under this.

However... That's if everyone plays by the rules!

The consortium cannot buy any more shares.

So there are no forces at work here except supply and demand.

I'd say there are definitely no funding issues here now.

You have to ask, what are there plans here as collectively the billionaire led consortium is 0.01% short of the compulsory takeover threshold.

If history repeats itself, with mxo etc, then this should at least get to 7 or 8 p minimum

The remaining 9.9% has presumably been bought by associates of the two main ones, meaning if, as I suspect, someone has gotten wind of sonething in the end of August licensing round, they could spin it off as a consortium owned entity if they made an offer for PET.

I'd say our two new shareholders know something on this license round......

If a billionaire oil genius likes what PET have enough to buy in, then that alone is good enough reason to buy in Imo.

Interesting choice for shareholders here. Buy in anticipation of it not delisting, or buy in anticipation of it delisting then relisting otc somewhere or receiving an offer after delisting.

I had that elsewhere, a decent offer to management buy out take a share about a year after delisting.

This will be transformational, in Nov/Dec. Until then its "only" great news.
