@beatroot Can't argue with what you are saying because I don't know your office. However this is not the norm throughout the business. Self funding is the absolute key to this drop in hours and it is sustainable if the walks are equalised correctly. You are correct there will be trouble if they renege on the agreement no doubt about that at all and it is part of our pay rise because it increases our hourly rate of pay and that of part timers. So far in the last year RM have lost about 120,000 hours a week every week due to the first hour coming off. It hasn't really caused any issues in any of the functions and I doubt it will going forward. As for delaying any further reduction, on their heads be it, we are not a Union to be messed with and the last thing this industry needs right now is anymore IA. If RM want to make savings then get us the work and take on the opposition and there will be natural savings and efficiency improvements. The employees are not the enemy other operators are so lets go after them
