RE: Had a punt here26 Nov 2024 14:01
Having seen a couple of familiar names in this one, I decided to take a look myself.
IMO, based on fundamentals, it simply appears to be in the 'fairly valued' camp at the time of print.
It does not appear cheap, even after the drop (which itself was not particularly steep); profit warnings, if you can call this one (not really to my mind, but a little one perhaps) usually seem to come in threes...and the big one for me: no inside buying yet either.
Throw in the understandable cautious forward guidance (driven in no small part by the pan-European socialist approach to economics) and if anything, I think the SP is holding up quite well.
IMO and subject to no additional company-specific news, 215p-ish would start to look attractive. 200p certainly.
Nearly 4% short interest, as far as the disclosed positions go, and no reductions yet.
It will be interesting to see if this remains the case in a week or so.
Anyway, GLA and I will keep this one on my radar, in case I get the opportunity to join you.
