RE: Price17 Dec 2024 10:32
TA suggests some support around 207p, then not much until 185p-ish, although I agree about your point on human nature liking round numbers.
As for fundamentals though, which I suspect most holders here are more inclined to follow, this is not expensive right now. And lots to like, as some other posters have already highlighted.
Which is why I retained a small position to catch the dividend, even though I was confident that we were not likely to be close to the actual bottom.
As has shown to be the case.
But ultimately, who cares? TA does not always play out, and the lower we go, the greater the prospect of a speculative bid.
Which, even if rebuffed, will allow those so inclined to take some profits off the table prior to then. And potentially add back if the SP retraces at that point.
Or continue to build a bigger position without the above.
Furthermore, we might get a strong rally if the markets like with the FED has to say, along with rate cuts...so shorts might need to keep close stops, or risk losing a chunk of their current paper profits.
I still see no point in shorts trying to scare people here. This is really not the cap size where such games are going to be remotely effective, IMO. Anyway, GLA bulls and bears.
