He fails to mention the prison statistics or the social housing statistics. All available in the public domain, without the need for too much digging.

I dare say he would dispute that bringing in ever more people to 'do jobs UK people will not' or to pay pensions etc, is the very definition of a ponzi scheme.

There is little proof, if any, that any of the products here are good.

Hence the lack of commercialisation, in spite of many years of activity, and many millions of shareholder cash.

Ultimately, IMO, a JV/free carry, or outright takeover by a big player, would have happened by now, if it were otherwise.

I expected more resistance around this price, and given the lack of short interest, agree that it most likely is II activity.

Whether it is a blow off top in progress, or simply the next leg up, all good for those already in the seat here.

I am undecided what I am going to do, if we get to the region of the ATH....but that is still a little way off, even at the current pace of movement.

Anyone who invested here five years ago is probably at least 50% down right now, for example. At least 30% down if they bought at the highs of the past year.

I am seeing this happen quite a lot at the moment. Here, but especially across the Pond.

Beats that are getting sold off. Must be institutions dumping into volume, IMO.

So perhaps they are unable to do so with misses, or inline updates, without risking completely cratering the SP.

Presumably they are not going to take this route, and so will look to avoid a crowded trade on low volume barring extreme situations?

LGEN continues to perform well, but IMO is expensive on fundamentals, so not a big surprise to see it shaping up for a small red day, perhaps flat by the close. But it continues to be a good dividend/income play, by the looks of things. Good luck with your investment and GLA.

Like a lot of outfits I am seeing, revenue is up, but profit is materially lower, along with EPS and in some cases, like this one, the terrible trio of rising debt as well.

This one is, and always has been, a bit different to others. Certainly compared to any other FTSE100 name I can think of.

But the answer to your question lies in the size of the free float I think.

I do not know, but would imagine not many others, if any at all.

Yes, I had seen that too. It happens from time to time and can offer some splendid opportunities.

It will be interesting to see what, if any, shareholder updates follow in the next few days. Good volume day to accelerate any liquidity exits perhaps.

And the short interest in a week or so, from the current position.

Different opinions make a market, so not sure why some are so hostile about those with neutral or bearish takes on this update.

FWIW, I was and still am broadly in the neutral camp, but I still have my small position here, because I think I am going to be able to exit at a higher price. Simple as that.

Not sure this update offers nearly enough precise information to hold a conviction position in either direction at the time of print, but to each their own.

A close above the 200 DMA today and tomorrow is the first goal. GLA.

This is the best market update that I remember seeing from FRES in the time I have been a shareholder.

Whether or not it is enough to move the SP to a fresh year high and beyond, no clue.

But yes, it is nice to be rewarded for buying those lows not that long ago. Not that I was certain back then that it would pay off, lol. GLA.

On the plus side, it is not a kitchen sink job. Some positives are clearly highlighted and IMO, it is good having the old CEO back in the hot seat.

But there also seems to be plenty of possible headwinds too and my take is that they still have a lot of work to do.

Define 'significant'.

The BOD will need to show that they have the makings of a credible business in order to get a future raise away, or other method of financial loan, IMO.

That fits into the time criteria of 'foreseeable future' to my mind - eg within 12 months or so.

The actual business plan they have presented spans five years, if memory serves correct and of course, they will also be thinking even further ahead than that.

If we have not got some further updates by the autumn, then I might take a fresh view at that point, but for now and like you, with just a small punt, I remain happy to continue to give them the benefit of the doubt and a little more time. Not advice to anyone to follow suit etc.

Absolutely no idea. I would be inclined to agree if we were sitting around the year lows, but IMO, this is no mans land right now.
