Hi SAD I agree with your statement as to our worth after the tox studies being done but with a range of products at different stages of development (737 control brought back in house to tidy that up)

all products well covered with world wide patents is a large pharma going to wait and get piped at the post by another or do they make an early move.

My gut feel is that if the results of the initial trial have been distributed to interested parties ( as the BOD stated they were in discussions) then there could be due diligence being done now.

I am still suspicious as to a long delay from completion of initial trial to setting a date for start of tox studies, someone is pulling our strings and I am hoping they come forward with a formal offer. I thought that this would have happened this financial year but could drop anytime.

The BOD need to keep the PR machine going to keep the shareholders on board because if the mood over the last few months are anything to go by if an offer is put on the table that the BOD do not think is enough, they might get a surprise when the shareholders vote to accept.

Here's hoping they can wait until the ISA allowance date which I believe is 6th April.

If they wanted the world to know what we have the PR machine would have been working overtime with getting the results of the 1801 trial with the bio marker detail in as many medical publications available.

The lack of which makes me suspicious that they are in talks with a pharma who is pulling the strings and keeping the info to themselves while they do due diligence.

I think the tox study was a stall tactic so not to commit to a phase 2 study while negotiations going on.

Here's hoping for some decent news to drop shortly.

No mention of results of 1801 being published, no director buys, progress of toxicology study stalled after Dec statement, control of 737 brought in house ,this has NDA written all over it.

I hope we get an offer on takeover so we can move on.

The BOD are going to need to wear tin hats and flak jackets today.

The lack of any news on tox studies and no director buys to stabilise share price last few months could mean an NDA in progress while a potential suitor does due diligence on the 1801 data.

737 brought back in house to give control to who ever wants SAR, the BOD could have come back to shareholders if they wanted the money for development but this would have taken time and probably kept the share price up.

If they are under an NDA then the placing and forward selling could be their last throw of the dice to maximise their share warrants before an offer of a takeover is received.

As stated at AGM could be the last AGM so could this be all ducks lined up.

Also if the CEO who stepped aside last year had any past working arrangements with the pharma who is after us then he would have had to declare his interests so easier to step aside and let another member of the BOD front the negotiations.

I am still hopefull of an RNS before the end of the tax year.

SAD I enjoy reading your posts as it adds to the knowledge of the products we have and their potential, however posting just on here has a limited audience. I have noticed a few articles being posted on Facebook lately about treatment for cancers and a snippet appeared about 737 where a few guys got into a discussion.

The thread of comments was over 2k people so if we could get a bit of coverage for our products on some of those feeds from knowledgeable chaps like you we may get a few more people interested.

I am going to keep an eye out and start commenting on what we have.

When SRA737 was held by a company last year I stated that my thoughts were that a large pharma was behind the scenes paying a few million upfront to stall the development so as to allow their product to progress and at the same time keep the Financial brake on Sareum until the results of 1801 trial and biomarkers were known as this would keep the pressure on the BOD at any negotiations.

I recently read an article about another chk inhibitor Jemperli which was developed by Tesaro ( USA company) this company was bought by GSK.

Siera was also owned by GSK so could it be that 737 has been kicked down the road for 2 years by the same large pharma.

I personally think that with the results of the initial trial and the bio markers now available a large pharma is not going to let so much potential slip through their hands. They need to keep feeding their portfolio of drug development for the next 20 years.

With so many patents coming to an end in the next few years Sareums 1801, 1802 and 737 must be an attractive proposition.

My gut feel is GSK is one of the companies reviewing our data.

If we are in discussions with an interested party there may be an NDA in place hence the radio silence. I would like to think this is the case where the results of the trial and the bio markers are being checked and due diligence being undertaken.

With the science already proven with other companies tyk2 products and the potential for treatment for a range of products and our compounds covered by World wide patents for years to come, is a large pharma going to sit back and wait for tox studies and possibly get piped at the post by another pharma?

Sad, nice article any major pharma who has not already got a tyk2 in their portfolio and wants to join the party will be watching us like a hawk. At what point do they make their move? Do they wait for end of toxicology study? And potentially let a competitor beat them too it, or move early.

Interesting times ahead, it would be a nice Xmas present to get some positive news on 737 to allow fast track of 1802 into cases of cancer with unmet medical need (to fast track trials) and let 1801 run its course.

Hi sad I am of a similar opinion to you, I have stated a few times that I believe that who ever has 737 has used it as a pawn in a game of chess with sareum as they are interested in either 1801 02 or the whole company.

By using the delay tactics they have put financial pressure on our BOD which has led them a merry dance when they may have thought that they could rely on finances to further develop 1801.

If 737 is further delayed or handed back I will be personally writìng to the Government Minister requesting a formal investigation or enquiry into how CRUK have handled this from day 1.

For a drug of such potential for the fight against cancer developed by a UK Charity in partnership with ourselves to be delayed time after time with no progress reports seems totally unprofessional and unethical.

Having been diagnosed with cancer about 5 years ago and had operations, radiotherapy and hormone treatment I have become an avid reader of research papers on the various trials being undertaken and keep hoping for a major breakthrough.

Whist we wait for an update on 737 I am looking at info on CRUCK and its partners, what constitutions do they have, what finances do they have (companies house finance returns) how many staff on what salaries, what drugs have they got in development, what are their major success stories, I was even thinking of contacting BBC Panorama to see if they could run with something, you never know there could ɓe another post office scandal lurking.

I was wondering if the results of the bio markers have thrown up a high value target which the BOD thinks is worth the extra effort in this new trial, the results of which may add substantial value to the company.

It also gives time for the company who has 737 to show its hand. If the finances are released then this may strengthen Sareums finances for the next progression.

Here's hoping a large pharma is involved in the background.

Oracle I am with you on this idea, I have mentioned before that I believe who ever has 737 is using it to keep the brakes on sareum as they want more whether it is 1801 or the whole company we will find out.

The BOD have been playing a game of chess to out manouver which ever company is trying it on, this finance puts them back in a position of strength as the contract with 737 has only a few months to run before we are issued with more money or shares so this may show the hand of who we are dealing with.

If the BOD are now prepared to go it alone it is going to put pressure on any company who wants a partnership with 1801 or take us over completely, how long do they wait and let someone else beat them to it.

The Company who has 737 wants 1801 and 1802 so will make a move now that 1801 has been de risked, with so much potential and limited tyk2 drugs available (not already in the hands of a large pharma) I am hopeful they will show their hand in the next month.

Hi hbd I have mentioned this before, the silence on 737 could be to avoid any legal challenge from Siera shareholders who were up in arms about what they thought was a low offer for the company. If there is any link to Siera or GSK they might just kick off.

If who ever it is wants 1801 and decided to control the Sareum share price by buying in to 737, stalling any development so as to throttle funds until the results of 1801 are known then put a low ball offer in for Sareum then they have done a good job.

I think the BOD needed to raise enough funds to demonstrate they could take 1801 into next phase of trial to strengthen their hand at any negotiations.

I would love to see a takeover RNS for a decent amount, here's hoping.

I have said before I think some of the actions of the BOD look like a defence mechanism like a game of chess.

The way 737 has been played over the last few years with stall tactics, moving the payment milestones and now in the hands of an unknown company with no updates on progress stinks to high heavens.

If the pharma who has 737 also wants 1801, 1802 and the skill platform then they need to keep the financial pressure on Sareum to keep the upper hand.

Now that the BOD have strengthened their hand with enough finance to see 1801 and possibly 1802 developed where they have substantial value ( just enough to tempt a few suitors to the table) then this in itself would be enough to put pressure on the other pharma to show their hand and make some formal move.

The data from 1801 (with bio markers) indicating its target diseases with dosage should set the ball rolling.

All the best for all those holding and may this next tax year be good for our isas and pension pots.

If the results of 1801 are excellent and the funding now available to set 1802 running as well might be an interesting next 6 months with 737 also in the race.

If I can recall I think some of the Siera shareholders were going to mount a legal challenge against their BOD for recommending acceptance of what they considered a low offer on takeover.

If there is any connection with the new deal for 737 and the Siera BOD or GSK it would make an interesting legal case .

The way the original deal was done with Siera was a disgrace as it was abused in both time delays and finance, there was no incentive to progress, hopefully CPF have learnt their lesson and stitched up the agreement tighter than a ducks a*se ie watertight.

If a formal offer of a license or T/O is made the board have to notify the shareholders and they may recommend to accept or reject the offer based on what they think what is a fair price.

If the BOD continue to sit in their ivory tower letting the share price take a hammering and their p%ss poor record of communication they might get a surprise how many shareholders vote to accept a low ball offer.

It is not the Doctors they need to focus the sales it is the insurance companies who pay out for the patients treatment.

If they can save money on a more focussed treatment then they will instruct the doctors to follow a specific testing regime prior to approving a course of treatment, a doctor can not authorise any private treatment without clearance from the insurance company especially where large costs involved.
