I believe gsk already had a chk inhibitor in their portfolio which they were further advanced with so must not have wanted another, from a publication about a month ago someone has had a success with 737 in combination with another drug.

If today is a reflection on what a non technical presentation to an audience of about 70 people can do followed up by a circulation of the presentation to readers of the marketing company imagine what could happen when the technical publication is peer reviewed in an international journal.

If it gets circulated to all the oncology researchers, all the pharma companies globally especially the research departments of the big 10 who are looking to replace their products with patents about to expire in the next few years.

Onwards and upwards I hope its our turn next for a takeover, would love to see all our products put into next phase trials.

Hi Hobkirk similar thoughts from me, 1801 toxicology commenced end of May, initial phase trial better profile than Brepocitinib (which is reassuring) tox is being done by international CRO and the report of the initial trial is very close to being submitted for peer review journal.

Has Sareum held back this report so as to gather initial data on the tox study to use as a bargaining chip? Every week that goes by potentially adds extra data and value, here's hoping.

Any large pharma that wants a tyk2 in their portfolio must be watching this like a hawk, at what point do they make a move?

He mentions being advised on 737 onlicence opportunities and when questioned about finance mentions about any offers about takeover will be put to shareholders.

I hope he gets the publication out soon to hopefully drum up some interest and "let the world know what we have"

Nice article and well put together, when you see the likes of this it gives reassurance that the others that are ahead of us have de risked the principal of tyk and jak, developed a list of target ailments and highlighted potential future revenue generation.

Any large pharma that has an interest in including similar in their portfolio will be watching what is going on with the likes of Sareum, fully patented, initial trial results with bio markers and successful penetrative of blood brain barrier (very similar to this articles findings)

I just hope we have a similar article shortly possibly including some info from the toxicology trial "progressing well with no major issues"

I would love to see a strategic partner pick up the running with Sareum either as a merger or even takeover so that the whole portfolio of drugs 737, 1801, 1802 are fully funded and resourced to their full potential.

Having myself been diagnosed with cancer about 7 years ago, having an operation, 20 sessions of radio therapy and now follow up blood tests with hormone treatment, each article on new drug development brings hope. I mention some of the findings from the articles with my consultant to see what trials there are that may be of benefit.

I would love to see 737 included in the chk trials for stage 1 cancer that was in an article last week.

So when people get on about timescales for different stages and delays i see things from a slightly different perspective.

I read the results as soon as they were published and yes I understand they need to be written up for distribution to the industry circulation machine. Having seen a few of these technical papers would this not be done by specialist company?

Having witnessed the competence of the BOD delivering presentations over the last few years they would be better leaving something like this to technical authors.

Probably just someone selling a few and moving them across to Avacta, another drug development company undertaking trials.

MR Parker might glean a few ideas from their RNS this morning, they are doing a trial and have had a good result so have released the news as soon as they found out rather than wait till the end. Keeping their shareholders and potential partners informed of what is going on.

We had our trial signed off in December and still waiting for publication to be released to "let the world know what we have" who is he getting to write the publication Shakespear?

As Sareum are now in control of 737 would it not be common sense from a PR point of view to get someone to scan the internet for any reference to 737 where it has been used in a trial and put a copy of that research along side all of the other research undertaken by Sierra etc on the SAR web site so it is all in one place and shows the true extent of 737 potential.

It just seems another opportunity missed or not bothered attitude.

If Mr Parker can sort out the publication of the trial results prior to the bio International then there may be loads of interested parties forming a que (heard that somewhere before)

737 was delayed when in the hands of Siera, then again last year by an anonymous pharma we have had control over it since early this year and again not doing any better. As it has been used in many trials over the years it would be nice to see an article listing all of the trials it has been successful in. Again this get people talking at the conference.

Mr Parker show some leadership and get the BOD to buy some shares to at least lift the spirits of the rest of us.

Nice article on endpoints regarding chk inhibitors, it mentions the top 4 ( no mention of 737) of presently being used in various combinations with late stage cancers.

The focus now seems to be shifting to phase 1 cancers probably seen as a larger market.

Come on Mr Parker give us some good news on 737 progress or at least the publication of initial trial results to keep the PR machine going.

Or is it you are too busy talking to a strategic partner about 1801 (wishful thinking on my behalf) ? Here's hoping.

I have stated before that with the potential for 1801 especially as tyk2's have already have different levels of success with other companies and our world wide patents makes this an attractive target for a major pharma.

The delay since December could be a strategic partner reviewing the data from the trial and especially the bio markers to see what areas the drug could be used.

The rns in April highlighting all of Sareums assets looked like an ultimatum to a potential strategic partner, "we hope to start tox studies in May" so if you want to be in on the deal, this is the price and that is the timescale.

Once the tox studies have started then the price changes, so put up or shut up.

No doubt if the tox studies start the BOD will get unofficial feedback as to how the trial is progressing such as no adverse effects well before any formal results announced.

If initial results look promising this should strengthen their hand in any negotiations.

I still think that with so much potential for the range of drugs that Sareum have it is only a matter of time before we get some pharma wanting to be part of it or take us out completely. There are too many patents coming to an end so the pharmas need to increase their portfolios to maintain momentum.

A strategic partner who wants to take 1801 forward for upfront payment plus milestone payments plus royalties on final marketing.

Or Jam tomorrow, we are starting the tox trials in 2 months as we have not been able to get enough primates so have added a few wombles to the trial, have caged ricey and will be using him in the trial.

With the conversations going on about potential of drug development with various timeliness can anyone explain why the MM would want to keep an 18% spread unless they thought the news yesterday and the timing was a starter for something else?

Are they expecting some more news sometime this week? They must sense something.

Now all we need is the detailed report with biomarker results published in the world's medical journals together with the announcement of the tox study and we might get someone interested.

Before launch, report on the initial trial due for formal publication, ( the results and biomarker indications should indicate what possible targets the drug could be used for )

Any large pharma who is looking for a tyk2 in its development pipeline is not going to sit back and let a small company like sareum move forward on its own, its just a matter of when they make a move.

Go for it start a stampede, mm's just playing with the spread, most trades look like buys today.

Our strategic partner will just be finishing their due diligence of the results of the initial trial of 1801 and what the bio markers have shown as potential targets before having a cracking at us.

The BOD have strengthened their hand by lining up enough funds to get us through till next year and have drawn a line in the sand by putting a start date of May on the Tox studies.

If we start the tox studies and release the paper on the 1801 initial trial at the same time it should hopefully get the attention of a few large pharmas.

I would have thought that the news that the USA was going to look at tarrifs on pharma products might have focused some of the US pharmas to buy smaller Co's to develop and manufacture in the US.

We have a skill platform, a portfolio of drugs at different stages (737 and 1802 could be fast tracked into unmet medical needs)

1801 initial results with bio markers could give a large pharma multiple targets to go at.

We just need one of them to show their hand and have a cracking at us.

Hi krone nice article, I have been watching over the last week and trying to get my head around as to why the large spread and thought of the following.

The MM's software for managing the share price will have various alarms when the normal trend is out of parameters, the day before the new isa allowance there was a sudden buying surge and the share price was on a nice tick up and the spread went over 25% normally a speeding ticket would be issued by the BOD stating they know of no reason for the increase.

As no speeding ticket was issued the MM's kept the spread at 18% after that day as they may have expected some substantial news of an onlicense, merger or takeover.

The edison news article may have appeased the shareholders but it had no impact with the MM as they never budged on the spread.

Although the volume has not been great the last few days had the spread been lower we might have seen a few small rises.

I have stated before that with the current list of drugs, world wide patents trial data on 737 and 1801 together with the skil platform software I would think that one of the big pharmas would have a crack at taking us out.

There are a few big drugs with patents running out in the next few years so they need to get replacement drugs into trial now.

The spread keeps getting opened up to keep us down the leader board of the top risers, the MM's keeping the brakes on while someone is taking a few shares.

Loads of unreported trades from yesterday and probably be the same all week.

Looking at the article someone kindly posted earlier in the week regarding the top 10 pharma's and where they are with some of their patents for top shelf drugs coming to an end they are going to need something decent to replace them with.

I am sure we must be on the radar of at least one of them.
