I have said before I think some of the actions of the BOD look like a defence mechanism like a game of chess.
The way 737 has been played over the last few years with stall tactics, moving the payment milestones and now in the hands of an unknown company with no updates on progress stinks to high heavens.
If the pharma who has 737 also wants 1801, 1802 and the skill platform then they need to keep the financial pressure on Sareum to keep the upper hand.
Now that the BOD have strengthened their hand with enough finance to see 1801 and possibly 1802 developed where they have substantial value ( just enough to tempt a few suitors to the table) then this in itself would be enough to put pressure on the other pharma to show their hand and make some formal move.
The data from 1801 (with bio markers) indicating its target diseases with dosage should set the ball rolling.
All the best for all those holding and may this next tax year be good for our isas and pension pots.
If the results of 1801 are excellent and the funding now available to set 1802 running as well might be an interesting next 6 months with 737 also in the race.
A few big pharmas will be watching us like a hawk.
Hi HBD
If I can recall I think some of the Siera shareholders were going to mount a legal challenge against their BOD for recommending acceptance of what they considered a low offer on takeover.
If there is any connection with the new deal for 737 and the Siera BOD or GSK it would make an interesting legal case .
The way the original deal was done with Siera was a disgrace as it was abused in both time delays and finance, there was no incentive to progress, hopefully CPF have learnt their lesson and stitched up the agreement tighter than a ducks a*se ie watertight.
If a formal offer of a license or T/O is made the board have to notify the shareholders and they may recommend to accept or reject the offer based on what they think what is a fair price.
If the BOD continue to sit in their ivory tower letting the share price take a hammering and their p%ss poor record of communication they might get a surprise how many shareholders vote to accept a low ball offer.
It is not the Doctors they need to focus the sales it is the insurance companies who pay out for the patients treatment.
If they can save money on a more focussed treatment then they will instruct the doctors to follow a specific testing regime prior to approving a course of treatment, a doctor can not authorise any private treatment without clearance from the insurance company especially where large costs involved.
Agakhan I have similar view to you re golden nuggets I have been following this for a while and belive this year will be the start of good progress for OBD. I have similar interest in SAR and AVCT who are in trial stages, fingers crossed for all of them.
If the BOD could take any hints from the AGM they could lead from the front
A) buy some shares, help stabilise the price
B) press for an immediate statement on 737 status
C) volunteer for the trials themselves, might save us a few quid and they will know how well it is working so can keep the rest of us informed.
They say no news is good news when under trial conditions, but nothing before a AGM ?
Could there be an NDA in play, or ìs it just my wishful thinking.
Come on SAR blow the bl**dy doors off.
Hi Ben
I have had similar thoughts to you on this issue and think the raising of funds was a defence mechanism to separate 737 and 1801. If a major pharma was interested in both they would want to drag out any negotiations with 737 to see how 1801 progressed.
By raising funds the BOD have more control and it is my gut feeling at once 1801 has passed certain milestones they will send 1802 into human trials immediately. I personally think this may happen in the next few months (before the agm)
I just wish the BOD would buy some shares to help stabilise the price ( if they are able to that is)
Hi potnak do you know at what stage of testing of 1801 would it be deemed safe to start the trial of 1802 direct into cancer patients. If this is being lined up now could we see 1802 start its run in the next few months? If so things could really take off. Thanks

Is it just me or is the spread showing 11.111% what mm signal is that.?
I have done both over the years and if finances allow would put my money in the isa so I can buy when it suits me. What I found is that it took days to sort out the transactions for bed and isa and the MMs love this time of year to play with the spread so the money you would save with the bed and isa is lost on the share price or spread.
It's all down to personal choice depending on your circumstances, all the best with your decision.

Hi digital the trade at 1243 for £4988 was a buy from me, it is shown red as a sell like a load of others.
When the MMs play about with the spread it is sometimes hard to determine what are buys or sells.
There are a few others around the 89 mark which I suspect were also buys.

One of the 10k was mine, another top up.
Regarding the trials everyone is talking about and the data package, I thought that as well as the trials that Sierra undertook there was also some separate trials done in partnership with cancer research uk.(I can not think of the lead scientist) would these have not had their own data set which would be enough validation to move some progress?
Hi oracle
Have a look at my previouse posts pre consolidation where I mention how many I hold, I have bought some more over the last few months on the dips.
Not much difference in no of shares between me and directors and more than the HNWI's?
As an ex director of a company there are tweaks you can do to keep the stability of a company so it looks professional and not being dragged about at the mercy of the MM's
MERRY XMAS AND ALL THE BEST FOR 2023.
If the Directors would just buy some shares to send a message to the Market, they may just help stabilize the share price?
18 percent spread, come on MM's what the hell are they up to buys coming in but won't let the brakes off
I tried to buy 20k this morning no quote available, tried again 10k, same 5k same 3 k same. Eventually got £2k then another 2 then another 3 then tried for another 3 then got no quote available.
MM's playing funny bu##ers or an order being filled.
The delay could also be because another company wants to be part of the action and negotions are underway.
