With the prospects of 201 and 401 looking extremely positive there is every chance at long last of a sustained rise in SP here.
The current mcap of the company is far too low when considering that of its peers and on todays news we should see the start of a justified re rate.
Its about time the normal practice of quick spike and retrace stopped happening .
There is bound to be plenty of good press on the back of this news and we can expect a proactive investors interview to further our cause.
Onwards and upwards in anticipation of some near term corporate activity should be the order of the day.

Well folks
Whether we are bullish or bearish re SARs prospects , the only way we will see any real positive movement in the SP is if either a milestone payment is announced or if the bod manage to negotiate a deal.
History has informed us that in the majority of time between positive news the the SP will stay the same at best or dribble down to a level that will encourage bottom fishers.
Like all the other long termers here I expected to be able to cash in all of my chips here before now at a decent return .
Unless the science is proven to fail at any time I'll stay put and add to my holding here with a bit of spare money when I consider appropriate.
I can see why people have become unhappy with the continued lack of positive action here and agree with many of the points raised.
For me though its AIM and the current SP represents none of the promise of the company's compounds but reflects the ratio of high risk v high reward that I am not phased at in the slightest.

Which equates to a good chance imo that they will be looking for an opportunity to cash in here and make a very decent return on their investment fairly near term.
A nice feeling for once being in the right place at the right time with all the important boxes being ticked.

I was fortunate enough to top slice a couple of times and make a few quid all those years ago keeping about 50% of my original holding and then after an eternity having a big paper loss on the shares I had left having held on far too long .
Thought I had done my money , but fortunately averaged down a few times at rock bottom when a bit of light became evident at the end of the tunnel.
For once on AIM the Phoenix has rose from the ashes.
Quids in now and looking towards the start of production with the addition of a bit of projected bullish number crunching from the company in the near term.
Looking for around 8 to 10p for starters.
Should go much higher medium with every chance a buyout adding to expectations.

A deal or a milestone payment would do the trick
The SP here is languishing in the same place as that of all the other non profit making AIM drug development companies that are not generating any revenue .
Unfortunately we are stuck within a time when the MMs don't seem to factor any of the future prospects of the company into the share price.
While the science remains positive , we are still in the game .
At least the current SP is within a range that could attract a few more of us rainbow chasers.
Not for too much ruddy longer I would hope.

Shares are then suspended by MTFB
MTFB decide to recommend to shareholders to agree offer or not
If agreed then shareholders can accept offer price for shares.
Usual rule of thumb for first bid is about two and a bit x current SP.
If not agreed shares come out of suspension and shareholders can either hold or sell at the market price.

Probably equals a quiet period of trickle down SP as the MMs will no doubt drop the SP to encourage trades .
Be nice to see some sustained buying , if that happens there will probably be something in the wind imo.
I have a buying price in mind for a strategic top up .

Just a clause in the contract agreed by both parties .
All relevant points with every possible outcome would have been stated.
By the way imo SAR will be aware exactly when milestone payments are due to be paid .
This should be outlined precisely within the contract and as SAR are party to this they will have full details.
Having been involved in negotiating and drawing up many contracts ( not pharma ) and having taught elements of contract law at University this is my take on it anyway.

A contributing factor imo will be if we are to receive a milestone payment from Sierra which will come to light during their impending announcement .
It will stink in away if we do as imo that might have well been a contributing factor to the ease that the placing shares have been distributed.
Maybe a spike if we are in for a milestone payment giving the opportunity to top slice a few or a retrace if no milestone payment announcement which would imo result in a buying opportunity.
Might be better to wait on the next Sierra RNS that could come as early as tomorrow to see how both bits of the pie pan out.

Odds on imo would be that SAR would distribute a good percentage of those funds to shareholders via a one off special dividend.
The bod would have no doubt taken up their share options and who could blame them.

Looking to add on Thursday if the SP settles within a suitable range.
Got enough shrapnel floating about for around 200,000 shares which will round my holding up to a decent figure.
That will probably be it for me , although I would always sell a few on a decent spike and look to buy back on a dip.
From the recent trading pattern I think that there is a good chance that the placing will have no negative affect come Thursday with any fall already factored in.
We shall soon see.

Could be a very big mistake.
Their are numerous examples of AIM companies consolidating.
Can think of quite a few where it has ended badly for shareholders as the SP has just dwindled away .
VOG, VRP as specific examples
Cant think of any of the top of my head that has been a success
Certainly a good case for the merits of consolidation can be made on paper , but the reality has been different.

Lets not forget
The primary reason why companies list on the AIM is so they can raise money by selling their shares and other means in order to have adequate funds to enable them to achieve their goals and objectives.
Currently SAR are a non profit making company so with little or no revenue coming in they will at some point before a deal is struck always need more funds to keep operational.
They have always said that they would raise funds if there was a suitable opportunity .
The milestone payment is out of their hands as CRUK did the deal with Sierra . SAR are merely a recipient of a % of what CRUK receive . Although I am sure they are fully aware of the precise contractual obligations regarding the matter being a party to the contract.
The running costs of the company are extremely low in relation to some of their peers mainly due to all the lab work being outsourced which greatly reduces potential overheads.
Yep as you say there could be a fudge and everything could go tits up along the way
Yes as we all know this has taken a very long time . But we are talking a potential profit on a deal of many millions.
