The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Toss a coin up in the air Blackisle . No one knows what the end game will be here.
If the science stays on track and people hold their nerve then anyone who has a significant holding will become very wealthy . One bad RNS regarding to trial results and the SP will plummet in seconds to a value less than a split in two cigarette paper.
Just my opinion but if anyone does get in front here at any time during the roller coaster that will continue, it's best to take a few quid out .
ATB
What peeves me is the fact that I suspect quite a few of the genuine long term holders that were underwater will have had enough have bailed out at sometime during the recent maul of an SP decline and lost a he'll of amount of money as a result.
The broker or person that advised the RF mode of funding imo will have to walk the plank asap. I hope we find out soon who is going to be held responsible.
It is nothing worse than criminal that the SP has been walked down so far purely due to the uncertainty over the RF funding.
There is a lot of fuel left in the tank here and much further to go before any decent news evolves.
Same thoughts as you potnak
There is plenty of wax left on the candle here. A bit of momentum reclaiming some of the lost ground that was solely due to the RF debacle. Then some positive news and the SP should take off again.
Easy to calculate the potential here if the science holds up. 10 x the current MCap from current still looks very cheap when you consider the deals with regard to similar compounds that have been previously completed within the sector.
Hopefully those long termers that have held tight and those averaged down along the way will end up with a smile on their face after such a terrible time as of late.
Come on bod issue an RNS outlining how you intend to rectify this mess
A bit of honesty and transparency would help
There are plenty of posters on here that would take part in a substantial raise if the terms were right.
Me included
Only worry if an offer was made at the moment. A very low ball offer wouldn't break much ice.
But the reality of something like 10 x current SP such as about £3 per share probably would. It would suit me but not a lot of other long term holders.
Some good news required to propel the share price towards à more realistic level and then any offer for a buyout would be much better appreciated.
Great news today
Keep the faith folks. Unfortunately it's only a deal of some sort that will propel the SP here to the levels of positive expectation. If there are a number of interested parties as the bod have often stated then something lucrative might come out of the blue such as a partnership going forward quicker than most people think.
Never a one to be greedy. £2.50 per share would for me do very nicely and give me a fantastic profit on my current holding and I would be looking to start unloading some around the two smakers mark.
All or nothing for a fair percentage of holders.
Will be looking to add more in April in next year's ISÀ should the SP still be floundering.
There is no correlation between the prospects of the company and the share price.
The Market Makers don't care if the SP is 5p or £5. They are only interested in manipulating the share price either higher or lower in order to encourage trades while at the same time trying to keep a balanced book.
Unfortunately this is AIM and non profit making companies similar in status as Sareum that list their shares on this exchange with the main objective as using it as a vehicle in order raise funds. We all know the downsides that this can bring.
Nothing wrong with the bod or the company imo but only a deal or exceptional news will lift the SP towards the price of our expectations.
High risk so could end up at either 10p or £10 ? or anywhere in between. I am with the Bulls on this.
No conspiracy theories for me.
It is what it is.
Riverfort are bound to take advantage and sell into the rise which will more than likely be a key factor that will suppress the SP for the time being. But imo we will soon at last see some upward sustained momentum in the share price as without a doubt we are currently way undervalued by Mr Market considering the assets we have in our pipeline and the potential stream of income from 737 . As most people are aware when the SP spikes here it goes up in leaps and bounds.
Surely a well deserved re rating is just around the corner.
I was sure a deal for 737 would bring the first piece of good news we were waiting for.
Although the initial up front payment is disappointing . I believe with the potential income stream we now have the odds are swinging toward a takeover for the company lock stock and barrel assuming the current trials for our main product proceed as expected.
Two for the price of one would still leave us with a massive return on all of our investments even those who are considerably under water at the moment.
Same as many other long term holders, I am very confident of a very positive end result.
Atb guys, keep the faith.
Hopefully a decent bit of spin on some positive news will result in a spike to the beleaguered and battered SP here.
We need a deal or a joint venture or the like imo to send the shareprice towards the levels of our top line expectations .
In plain terms to make an astounding difference the news will have to be good quite simply because at the moment the company isn't making any money.
It is what it is
After some fairly turbulent years with some fantastic rises and substantial retraces we are unfortunately for the moment anchored at the current mediocre level of SP
Still all to play for though
I for one will be glad when the fat lady finally blurts her swansong . It's been a long time since the legendry 10 out of 10 with the mice encouraged me to invest here initially.
A fantastic entry price for the brave as the science remains brilliant while the prospects of the company are as positive as they ever have been.
Still very much throwing my hat up in the air with the bulls and of the belief that a massive pay day or two arejust around the corner.
