For my thoughts
If we can manage to stay above £2 per share . This will be a great platform for lift off once a piece of good news rolls off the press. I would expect a fiver instantly if we get some positive news re the development of 737.
All to play for , exciting times.
I remember very well the thoth post that predicted 28p.
He justified that prediction with an excellent analyses of some examples of the like for like deals that were being done in the sector at the time which gave us some justified hope that if we received an offer of full value for our exciting pipeline of products then we would all make a pot full of money.
As a rule of thumb the usual initial offer for an outright takeover is based at around two and a bit times the current share price.
Imo that if we were to receive an outright offer for the company at this particular time around the £6 to £7 range would be about the first sum that would be put on the table.
I know a lot of holders would expect a lot more , but I would be more than happy to take that . Having made a bucket load here in the last financial year even a fiver would see me making yet another very sizeable gain and I would be more than happy to end my very long term of being a holder here and drift off into the sunset.
Each to their own and good luck with everyone's aspirations.
Rubbish Rayboy
There are plenty of non profit making pharma companies on AIM.
Not many of them being picked up for a song is there.
Make a list , if you can name a few.
SAR have plenty of funds for the time being and because of the potential of their pipeline would have no problem raising funds should they decide to do so.
We know that during times between news or if there is a hint of negativity here that the Sareum SP has been prone to a retrace.
It seems that we are in the middle of a here we go again dribble down phase.
Will be looking to add again some time soon hopefully before we get some positive news.
Estimates of 20 quid to 50 smakeroonies a share.
Shiver me timbers.
The general rule of thumb for initial takeover bids are around two and a bit times current SP.
And a fiver a share would do me nicely.
Hope the dreamers are right though.
Some great posts today as per usual.
I firmly believe that all holders that have a current holding of over 15000 shares purchased at around the current SP or lower will make make a small fortune in the not to distant future when they sell their loton good news and I remain invested very excited about the outcome.
But let's put it all in prospective , despite all the hype and the well founded expectation , we are a non profit making AIM company thus the dosh we all have invested here is speculative and at very high risk.
The MMs to earn a crust until relevant news one way or another will manipulate the share price one way or another in order to encourage trades and make their bread and butter.
Ah Bungalow Lancers
Reminds me of part of a song the paddy's used to sing about the craic on on building sites back in the day.
We were going down the Glen with Macalpines men
They were flying around the site like a rake of Ballet Dancers
One in ten were time served men , the rest were Bengal Lancers.
Back to waiting for the next red dot.
I can understand the impatience and knock on negativity from some of those who have been invested here for many years, especially if they haven't taken advantage by taking substantial profits on a number of the sharp hikes that we have had in the SP at various times.
Let's hope that as many expect there is a positive RNS waiting in the wings teady to pop out and provide the share price with the required momentum that will bring back a smile on a few of the sullen faces.
As usual chilled out and very confident with my current holding with high expectations on what will pan out here.
You pays your money and takes your chance
ATB guys.
I may be wrong but I don't believe we have had an engineered decline in SP here.
Most non profit making companies on AIM suffer the fate of seeing their share price fall during periods between news.
It's a trait that has reared it's head time after time here over a number of years.
The Mms will always take the opportunity to try to position the SP at a level to try and encourage trades , not only down to get some buys on the board but also sells to suck in a few profit takers while at the same time trying to maintain a balanced book.
There are not too many of our shares in free float at the moment , so my monies on the first decent RNS giving us a very nice rise as any buyers that are waiting in the wings pile in.
Just my thoughts and in all honesty after being burnt a bit when I made my first purchase here all those years ago I have done very well after making the right call on most buys and sells that I have made since.
Time will tell though and I admit that calling it right in the past is not the same as calling it right tomorrow.
