Estimated Valuation of the Domains Business

In the tech industry, a stable, growing infrastructure business like this usually commands a multiple of 12x to 15x EBITDA.

Conservative Estimate (10x EBITDA): $21m × 10 = $210 million

Fair Market Value (13x EBITDA): $21m × 13 = $273 million

Optimistic / Strategic Buyer (15x EBITDA): $21m × 15 = $315 million

It is incredible really, currently Search and Comparison is priced at zero it seems. Domains sold we will see zero debt and about the same amount of cash remaining as the current market cap, potentially.

Unfortunately just a waiting game.

It was just 208,135 shares moving from one Kestrel portfolio to another Kestrel portfolio is what it reads to me.

The sale of Domains for "a valuation materially exceeding the Company's current market capitalisation". It's interesting Kestrel has paused withdrawals, they are under pressure for TIG to have a very positive outcome.

Won't be going anywhere with TIG, that's our good news. But have lost confidence in AIM, with its ridiculous valuations for many companies. Interesting "Redcentric sold it's Data Centre business for 15X EBITDA". Would be a great multiple for our Domains business! Lol.

We won't get Q3 results this year, we will only get final results. Just as we didn't get Q1 results until half year results.

They changed it this year to be more in line with peers... They're words, not mine.

Would be nice of some type of update though! If they believe a sale will happen, start buybacks now ffs.

We no longer get quarterly results, they changed it to every half year.

Unfortunately nothing has really changed, we're still low volume and seemingly manipulated.

Even before the last update, we knew the value of Domains being worth more than the entire market capitalisation as that's why many of us are invested.

I find it interesting no interviews after the announcement. If it wasn't close close, you would think they would be talking about the assets and potential values.

The reported loss in H1 was from Shinez impairment charge and a $6m FX accounting adjustment from currency revaluations, not an actual cash outflow.

In H1 net debt was reduced $3.1m. They also spent $6.7m on buybacks and around $4.7m on redundancies, which both are non-recurring for H2.

If they will pay a "valuation materially exceeding the Company's current market capitalisation" for DIS... Why not buy DIS and get Search and Comparison for free?! You buy one, you get 2 ABSOLUTELY FREE!

Yeah, they're in a sticky situation with the value of the company collapsing mjharris.

GGG I am very frustrated with the lack of communication, it's disgraceful.

But thinking which divisions have most potential to increase from current levels in percentage terms over 12 to 18 months in EBITDA?

To me it would seem Search and Comparison. Yes it's been an absolute disaster this year with search, mostly from Google itself changes, it seems selling it for near nothing would be a disaster. And Comparison is only just expanding out of Germany/Austria before this year and next first full year of France, Italy, Spain, UK.

Also frustrating is Zeus Capital research released today is also not available to private investors currently.

Bostonboy, they look like decent buys at 43p after it dropped further before... With small sells. Really seems manipulated with the board seemingly content with such.

I've emailed Billy again, previously emailed me via the website Investor form. Silence from previous emails the last weeks.

Also emailed Link Group first thing this morning before the new 6 year low, as they are on the website for Shareholder Enquiries.

No trades... Bid is taken down and lots of automatic trades, you'd expect stop losses triggered.

We need a buyback programme.
