I do wonder how our accounting affects the price. Hedging losses shown as actual losses. You see it in articles about the company where they take all the results at face value as with other companies but DEC's accounting is a lot different than others.

Made no sense previously with the buybacks to then do a fundraiser and diluting shareholders further.

But buybacks are a great way to increase share price when dividends are taxed at 15% out a SIPPs. No such tax on buybacks!

A potential dual listing in the US should be a positive that will allow American investors to buy DEC in future.

Retail offer is $3m maximum but overall placing is for $160m? Would be nice to know the price the other 157m placing is for institutions.

The same thing happened during COVID while DEC was increasing dividends. We follow the gas price a lot even with the hedge!

Wouldn't be shocked to see RNS about buybacks at these levels.

It is still in place, they bought I believe only around 10% of the buyback amount announced so far.

It is currently only $3.24 though, so the hedge is near 10% higher.

"The Programme will expire at the earlier date of the 01 June 2023 or the Company's 2023 Annual General Meeting of its Shareholders"
