...a genuine question for all of us to understand the trends and reconsider our investments.
WHICH KIND OF COVI19 TESTS WILL BE MORE IMPORTANT/USED GOING FORWARD?
I have been in and out of testkit shares, having missed the train from the very begin.
it is easy to hold a share if it has increase tenfold and you have already cash in your initial investment, more difficult if you buy near the top and you see the sp going down.
But beside trading strategies, overall we can say that NCYT is now becoming an investment based on fundamental, not momentum.
NCYT number are compelling, and (although some here in the extrapolation of future profits for ncyt, is confusing potential test kit produced with test kit sold), this company remains a good investment proposition.
My question is for how long?
How the trend on testkit type will evolve?
In Italy are carrying out tests analyses on DNA (for scientific reasons in university laboratories) in trying to understand if some genetic traits make some people immune to covi19.
If this is confirmed will it become the norm?
..But going back where we are now it seems that covi is here to stay at least for few years, given how it spread easily and the need for country to relax lock down, which is likely to restart contagions and notwithstanding the fact that some say it will come back next winter anyway.
A vaccine down the road (if it materialise) and more lock down and restriction, should be able to contain the virus and easy the strain on hospitals, but the fear of someone carrying the virus asymptomatically will remain.
Already governments are preparing for phase 2 control of the virus, where if in the first phase we were fighting covi19 now with number of cases and deaths going down, we will have to control the virus. The aim is still the same make sure our hospitals are not overwhelmed with patients.
I am trying to figure out with cases of covi diminishing how much need will be there for antigen tests, I suppose we change the question from "how much" to how long, but the answer still is not easy task to find, because it all depend by many unknown factors.
So let forget trying to figure out how many antigen testkit will be needed this year, lets talk about which test kit will be needed in the future most?
Many people see antibody tests as a way to go back to work, this potentially is huge for the antibody test market, but in reality what is needed is a testkit that proves that someone is not able to pass the virus to someone else. This is what governments and all of us really want, in order to ease the psychosis from this virus, but I don't think a test like this will ever be available, not even vaccine are 100% sure to immunise people.
So we are back to square one, if you what to be sure not to catch covi 19 go to live on top of a mountain and make sure there are no bats around, or any other kind of animal with a trans-gene virus.
It seems that covi is here to stay but is likely that humanity wi
