Bushveld Minerals Mokopane first 6 month of 2020 made a loss of $10.7 million , they can make a profit only at high vanadium price. More over they are a producing mine I was comparing pre production assets.

Whatever Alfacomp I am not going to research every vanadium project out there for the benefit of making a point.

My point is Ferro Alloy Balasausqandiq project minimum capex investment cheapest production cost higher profit margins easier to attract capital finance once BFS is ready, profitable at low vanadium price .
Kazakhstan is one of the cheapest place in the world to produce look at Kaz MineralS PLC copper mine.....

Done some quick research for you please any correction is more than welcomed.
Firstvanadium Corp possibly the more comparable vanadium mine project right now.
Canadian exploration company with asset in USA, their project feasibility is for an investment of $535 capex, for a production similar to that of phase one of Ferro Alloyd or 11.4 million lbs. Firstvanaidum Court cost or production or opex been $5.17 lb.
In short if I get this right the current best prospect of mining vanadium in the world been Firstvanadium Corp , will cost 5 time more to start in capex to produce the same quantity of Ferro Alloy Balasausqandiq, at a production cost per lb 2 to 3 time more expensive.

Any comment ?

I am looking at the sp of other Vanadium mining players in the market space, Two of the most prominent are, First Vanadium Corp and Vanadiumcorp Resources both Canadian. On the pure sp technical analyses while these two companies have lost some 60% to 70% of sp value since vanadium price dropped, Ferro Alloy lost almost 90%. With current rump up production and news catalyst in the pipeline the sp has to recover me think.

Some of the trades at Friday close, these are all buy some to the tune of 1.5 million shares
and yet the sp closed in red, I am not for the conspiracy theories but is strange...
At least I would imagine that 8/8.5 p is the bottom , so many exploration stage miners out there that still have to finish exploration cash burning exercise and begin BFS. I rather be on this one, there are many catalyst that could catapult the sp forward, some people see current sp selling pressure as a negative but we can also say that it is a good opportunity to get in on the cheep.

Great find at least there is someone more reputable that also thinks this is a good investment.

Hopefully they will start to buy new raw material at current market price....

..but it seems to me that some people here are using unforeseeable events to bash down this company, by making them responsible if vanadium price has collapsed or if covid came about.....
2021 will bring profitability to FAR and possibly funding for a billion $ mining project, not to mention if vanadium price start to rise again...
I can't tell you if 8p share price is the bottom, but a reasonable investment proposition would be buy in small amount at first and average down or up going forward.

So it is ongoing...meaning that some money must have been put forward for it to start. Now with covid and possibly more finance needed it might be delayed till begin new year I don't know only guessing, but for sure sooner than later will be completed, will (apparently ) be very profitable and therefore will easily attract funds and institutional investors.
It seems to me (and yes this is ramping) that although this company has gone trough the most unfortunate series of events, namely vanadium price collapsing, covid19, and if you like we can add Nick wife divorce lol..
Is now on the verge of a turn around in fortunes.

Just to mention few potential change of fortune events that are likely to occur:

Vanadium price is at historic low, will it go even lower with the hype and potential for this metal ?
Beside a low price will increase its use in the vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB) space which makes it a win/win situation considering that FAR Kazakhstan deposit is profitable at much lower vanadium price.

Covid 19 one year time from now will be under control, there will be some change in the new normal with sector like hospitality and the like but mining ?! It will be back with a vengeance especially for new technology ...

And this bring me to the huge investments ready to be deployed in the green energy space. Europe but not just Europe also China South Africa and I am sure many other Country are set to invest billions if not trillions in green energy. Its my intuition that if in one hand covid has halted the development of operation in almost every area in including mining, in the other hand it has forced governments to print cash like crazy...Now this cash has to be deployed and invested in the creation of new job opportunities, the very jobs that covid has destroyed. The world is changing and the green renewable space will be more and more a factor in country's GDP.

Then more specifically to this company we have the BFS that will be completed end of year or if you whish begin of next. But will be done that's a fact. Now on the sp how much is worth a BFS for this company? Even if it is not completely payed for and a couple of million £ are still needed, considering the benefit it will bring looks like money well spent.

And finally current production and profit.
FAR made a good profit in 2018 thanks to vanadium prices (production was 125t very little) and a big loss in 2019 which kind of erased the 2018 profit.
I am expecting another loss for 2020 even if production from 152t in 2019 will almost double in 2020 this is not enough to offset costs.
But the plans of the company were to bring production to 1500 tones/year and reduce costs with connection to high voltage power grid, all events that are in place to occur any time now....

About the selling I am not so sure it is caused by those financing the company right now, is more likely that is coming from the sp history of the Co. Floating at around 70p some 1.5 years ago means that lots of people are seating on a loss and want out having possibly lost fait ...
On the man himself Mr. Nick it as far as I know he was the founder of Hambledon Mine and he was in charge of the company from exploration stage to commissioning so he must have some experience in bringing a company to production, though he won't be able to do it with current personnel and will need to employ some capable people...but this is at least 2 years down the line. In near terms what will affect the sp is bringing the production to 1500t, if I am correct the furnace is already bought and in site and if wasn't for covid it would be already set up and maybe running...Anyway I can't imagine that found the remine financing this board will squander the cash in parties and champagne. Mr. Nick need the share price higher to pay for divorce settlement among other things and and comes April He will have to sell cheap, if this has not happened..
Agree why not rise the remaining finance in one go, from the Crux YouTube video they are mentioning the fact that without the BFS is difficult even to talk about finance with potential institutional investors, hence this endless poultry share issuing...

Well is a delicate matter my gut instinct is that as there has been one lock in agreement there will be another till the sp will have recovered, especially at this crucial moment for the company.
But this could be only wishful thinking it all depend how nasty is Brigden ex wife..
In the worst case scenario then he will have to sell enough share or half of his holding to pay for the divorce lol not a lucky guy considering that this company floated at 70p circa if I am correct.
So if you ask me what is going to happen with his divorce, the best answer I can give you is to move on and look for a younger girl....
Seriously though is not Brigden private live that is going to change the fundamental of this company, to me the crucial bit is to complete the furnace and power grid in the near terms, to bring this company to profitability levels.
If was not for covid19 this might already have happened, I repeat production is increase and we are promised more to come.
I am sure that all the BoD is aware of what benefit will bring to the sp news of finalising electric grid connection, furnace commissioning or BFS completion.
If you believe that this will happen then from 70p floating price to today 9p, seems to me a good moment to buy in given that covid19 will come down and huge investments on green energy around the world might improve vanadium prices mid terms...

Please tell me more about Nicholas Bridgen experience with Hambledon mining, it seems to me that he was the founder and had 21%share holding in the company, now that is a big believer, he increased the company share price an this for a company at exploration stage is an achievement. I am sure not everything is positive and if you look closely you will find something wrong in any person, but at least he doesn't seems to be one of those AIM board of directors that take investors money and run away, within his limits he seems to me a genuine and committed person.....

What I don't get is how £3.5 million remining investment to achieve $10 million cash flow per year and complete feasibly study would hold back the sp.
I am aware of the meaning of dilution and that doesn't worry me because the money raised will go to increase profit and net asset value including facilitate finance for the mine, a tiny sum compare to massive financial benefit.
The company has little or no debit and has a producing asset increasing production as we type, the potential is huge and people focus on the negative poultry £3.5 million need...

I am sorry mate if you bought this shares at 70p on the hype of vanadium price high and sold out to a massive loss, but there is no need to come on this board to ruin somebody else party.

Hi 1509 to answer to you questions in short is:
If the company had the cash to finalise power connection and Feasibility study, then you would pay that on the share price, if not than you don't pay it....What you like to focus is that with the remaining say £3.5 million investment this company will achieve a valuation multiple of today sp value.
Think about it £3.5 million is a tiny sum compare to NPV or $2 billions and the prospect to access finance for the mine deposit.
With this remining investment, FAR next year will achieve $10 million cash flow per year from increased production and more importantly will reach investable status for institution via financing, rising debit or issuing more shares. The Balasausqandiq vanadium deposit of FAR has 79% operation margins, lots of profit potential to attract many kind of financing.
Look at the CRUX interview on YouTube, to me the CEO come across a very humble and honest person and believe me that is very important for an AIM company.
This is a company with already infrastructure in place in one of the cheapest place to mine in the world (Kaz Mineral copper mine is an example)
Vanadium prices are depressed right now hence the cheap sp if you can wait with your investment this will reward you handsomely. There are trillions of $ investments coming from around the world in to green energy, and infrastructures vanadium prices will recover and production for this company is already doubling without these remaining £3.5 million investments left.
Lets not get lost in conversation on this poultry £3.5 million investment left for feasibility study and electricity grid connection, when we have double increased production now and ten times by the end of 2021 plus feasibility study completed any time soon.
