This is fantastic news, for ITM Power, its Poseidon PEM electrolysers are gaining market traction, and critically optimising economics for FID, for developers of large-scale 💧hydrogen projects. Nice to see, well done the team!

We are delighted to announce that an undisclosed customer has selected us as the supplier for a large-scale green hydrogen project in the UK, which was successful in the government's Hydrogen Allocation Round 2 (HAR2), alongside a smaller project in the UK.

The two projects aim to supply local industries with green hydrogen to reduce carbon emissions.

Dennis Schulz, ITM CEO, said, "We are honoured to be chosen for yet another HAR2 project in the UK, just weeks after Uniper confirmed us for their 120MW Humber project. This supplier selection demonstrates two things: that the UK is starting to gain traction in green hydrogen, and that we are establishing early leadership in our home market."

The Hydrogen Mechanism is specifically set up and operated by the European Commission as part of the European Hydrogen Bank (EHB) — which also runs auctions for renewable H2subsidies drawn from the Innovation Fund — and is due to run until the end of 2029.

The ITM Power subsidiary Hydropulse has agreed on a strategic partnership with the project developer, the Eternal Power GmbH. Together, the two companies want to establish a "#Hydrogen -as-a-Service" model. The aim is to accelerate the implementation of industrial #Wasserstoffprojekte in #Deutschland. 💧The first deliveries are to be made as early as summer 2025.

In a Surprise Move, The US Senate has extended the 45V clean 💧hydrogen💧tax credit deadline from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027, granting developers two more years to qualify for the incentive, offering up to $3 per kilogram.
