AS said at the AGM (afterwards) that they would not RNS the patient dosing but safe to assume once one cohort completes they’re good to start the next.

They have said they are advancing to the next cohort (DE5) so the first patient has been dosed. They only RNS’d the recent patient dosing due to long gap and US dosing.

DE1 RNS 3 Feb said moving on (not patient dosed), DE2 RNS 29 June the same DE3 on 1 Sept and as mentioned we then had s long break due to increased dosing/cohorts. DE5 (cohort 6) has started.

We will not get a dosing RNS IMO. They only did so last time due to the length of delay as regulatory approval needed. They of course RNS’d first US dosing but didn’t for UK before cohort 4. When one ends the next starts so safe to assume patient 1 has been dosed.

Wyn I asked you a while ago why you spent so much time on here when you were not in invested and you were replying to others who had referred to you. Well you recently are often creating your own thread so are being proactive rather than reactive (which was your rationale). What’s changed? Why spend day on day out on here?

Yes so we may get more detail on that.

They didn’t deem it material as P1 to assess safety and its emerging data. Hopefully we get more detail on this, which cohorts, how many cycles etc.

I doubt there’ll be an RNS on Weds. like the science day they will likely put more meat on the bones and provide detail on the material news we already have. They can’t pick and choose when to publish material news it has to be released without delay.

Thorn you need to look at slide 84 of the science day presentation to see the amount of Dox in the tumours on the main car exceeded the targets.

Travel, which bit of the chemistry/science do you doubt? Is there is something you doubt which part of the data published so far has made you come to that view?

Look in here daily but not every hour. What I would say is you’ve missed out RAH who is one of the reasons I look on here. Jive Turkey the other (who you mentioned) also superb. Hats off to them and all meaningful contributors who educate many of us. Well worth scrolling through the inevitable crap from posters who seemingly aren’t invested but spend their lives on here.

From the SD and subsequent presentations I’ve seen that 19 patients were included in C1-C4, but 22 were dosed. I assume that the difference is due to 3 patients being removed from the study due to unrelated events (remember, these are terminal cases. So C5 dosed 7 patients, but we don’t know how many will be included in the final cohort numbers. Based on previous cohorts i guess 6, and 1 removal.

Remember last September when TW stated that Avacta’s interim would be delayed as the auditor won’t sign off as they’re a going concern. More BS. He throws a lot of mud in the Hope some sticks.

Current cash burn Avacta has 18 months and would not raise when P1a in home straight and near a 52 week low and right before an AGM.

Conifer has recently bought around 3m shares in the open market so I imagine if and when Avacta needs finance they’ll have at least one Institution hungry for shares. That being said after P1a aurely upfront payments from licensing deals likely.

Perhaps Stifel were trying to get more fees and sounded out a raise and would have presented/pitched to Avacta? Either way what we know is we had £41.8m at YE bought Coris for £7.4m cash in May (see website and RNS on June 1) and with £27m left at the end of May burnt £7.4m in 5 months or a little less than £1.5/month. That means a cash runway on current burn of 18 months.

Avacta when they need finance will surely raise cash after P1a compete and data published and it may well be non-dilutive in licensing or partner deals. Here’s hoping more biopsies are taken and they continue to show the chemistry is working. The biopsies (5) in Cohorts 3 and 4 showed on average Dox in tumour to plasma ratio 95-1. Wow.

The only UK LFT to be granted EU consumer CE which is received on 22 Dec and test pulled due to Omicron on 10 Jan.

Erm look at the P1 design. They are working with patients who haven’t had Dox yet as their cancers are treated with different chemos.

Why would they when doxorubicin isn’t an effective treatment for them?
