I have no doubts some of the largest streaming providers are trialling this and given Kantor's results on effectiveness it's a no-brainer. This is an embryonic space but MIRI is the leader and has great IP that's protected. They are burning cash at a rate and will likely look to raise again early next year so they will need some impressive deals before to get the share price higher to ensure less dilution. Most of the advertisers will write VPP into their budgets in Q4 for the following year so if deals aree to drop one would think it will from Sept onwards before YE.

Recruitment with many more sites online won't be an issue as it likely was in the first couple of cohorts but it depends on dropouts as cohort 4 illustrates.

The US site dosed patient 2 and maybe more. Patient 1 gets dosed and then 3 weeks until their second dose and patients 2 and 3 receive their first followed by another 3 weeks before next dose and a 2 week observation period.

It's a biotech co and first in-human trials so delays inevitable. The main thing is the science is working. Yes the LFT a debacle but the UK gov a joke and no point in going back there. AVA6000 taking longer as has exceeded expectations, I would much rather that than a inflated share price on the back of so-so emerging data.

We know it's safe and P1b more akin to a P2 so yes that is huge but the data in P1a will show an awful lot. How the drug moves around the body, of course we will get a MTD or BSD (which is important for subsequent trial designs of different molecules) and a few more biopsies showing the chemistry continues to do as expected and cleave much larger amounts of dox at tumour site and a lot less in systemically. Also given cohort 4 had 125-1 ratio of dox in tumour to blood the next cohorts could be even more impressive so yes the data rich P1A unlocks the platform for interested licensees et al.

I am sure RAH has reevaluated as some of here have. The specificity of AVA6000 means higher dosing regimes so a delay while new trial design signed off and here we are. Question is will they have taken more biopsies in the last 2 cohorts and I suspect they will have and does the science continue to work, trial ongoing so a yes. A little more patience needed but P1a unlocks the platform. An exciting autumn and winter ahead.

Indeed they only confirmed the first ever patient dosing (cohort 1) and then confirmed cohort 1, 2, 3 and 4 had completed and they will move onto the next dose. Because a higher dosing regime was needed regulatory approval needed so a large delay and an RNS re patient 1 in cohort 5 was subject to an RNS and of course the first US patient dosing too. Cohort 6 kicked off weeks ago and if no MTD we will get an RNS that it has completed and safety committee say okay to move higher.

From advfn - Great news and there will continue to be exciting news from drugs on trial and mostly novel drugs. The beauty of AVA6000 and preCISION is it delivers existing drugs (that are proven to be efficacious) to the tumour limiting toxicities and therefore increasing the target patient population. I am sure preCISION drugs will be used in conjunction with novel drugs currently being trialed.

We are yet to complete P1a so going to mainstream media now is premature. Maybe once P1a completed and data published they may push the story but premature to now.

Hopeully cohorts 5,6 and maybe 7 we have been able to take biopsies which will show even more impressive ratios of Dox in tumour to plasma. This time next month we could have completed cohort 6 and moving to our final cohort. We are delayed as a victim of our own success.

I'm pretty sure most holders are not expecting Avacta to be around to hit profitability. Most expect a takeover well before then and with safety a given the 6000 trial is now about efficacy and we know lots of dox getting into the tumour so will a very well understood molecule suddenly change its behaviour? Nope, so efficacy should be proven in early stages of P1b and I am sure with STS patients receiving now they will already be getting an idea.

Wyn given your constant negative narrative it's bizarre you say you continue to hold. I suspect you are not holding and have feck all else to do hence you spend a lot of time posting on a BB where you have no financial interest. Odd.

The trial design only went to 200 or 4 cohorts so they had to get regulatory approval to move higher and if they do not get a MTD at 400 they will have a BSD. One or the other is necessary from a regulatory and commercial stand point. It is the platform's first trial so establishing one of those key. Given DLTs have started it wouldn't be surprising to get a MTD in cohort 7 and I suspect once the PK and other data is published there will be several interested parties who may want to license or partner. If you do not believe this and you say you continue to hold you're either lying or a moron.

It was 45p or so not that long ago. I’m chilled with 100p, next concession will be 20% of loan repaid and not even completed P1a. Good work. No more from me.

The trial has been a victim of its own success. I’d prefer it took longer due to even better specificity so a new trial design needed wirh higher dosing to find a MTD or BSD. Once P1a completed and full data published I’ve no doubt there will be plenty of funding options including non-dilutive. I’m chilled and hope support holds. I expect if no MTD cohort 6 will be completed by early Sept.
