I've had a look at the other listed shareholders

Miton UK -is an investment trust

David & Monique Newlands 2.9% - they have bought considerable stakes in a number of company's over the years. So it will be interesting to see what they do.

The thing is Quilter sold probably after reading the trading update on the 13th March, totally unaware that someone (Dr Cooley) was about to build a big stake in the company 2 days later!

They'll have got a better price for there stock than Canaccord got.

Quilter reduced its holding by roughly half on 13th March (9.61% to 4.636%)

Question is who's been buying those ones!

MM's managed to shake loose over 7.5M shares in just under 10 mins (over 1% of the company) from 10:56 to 11:06 by dropping the price from 0.24-0.26 to 0.23-0.25 then from 11:08 to 11:16 sold it all on to buyers + another 2.2M shares for good measure & the price has only returned to 0.24-0.25

Go figure that out

If you look at multiple shares (non AIM) you'll see the same thing happen where multiple small trades go through at the exact same time, only most of them get marked as AT instead of O.

They are carried out by BOT's, sometimes you'll see BOTS competing against each other where 1 is selling while another 1 or 2 are buying & vise versa.

I'm well aware of the fact they did 3 DST's but we don't know exactly where within the well bore (other than below a fault) & one of them being in the basement formation the DST's were performed.

The basement DST doesn't mean it occurred at 980M (ie the very bottom of the hole) it means it occurred in the "basement formation" & I don't believe the company has released in its announcement at what actual measured depth they hit the top of the basement section, so it could have been 750M, 830M or 900M & the basement formation then continues from there to total depth (TD).

Lets say the top of the basement was hit at 830M the basement DST could have been taken at any point from say 850M to 960M over a 3M interval. Or we may find out that in actual fact 2 or 3 all 3 DST's occurred in the basement formation.

I gave you the chance about a week ago to tell people in detail how you & or your father would have done the EWT & you didn't take it.

My friend seems very knowledgeable on all of the steps required etc & tied it in with stuff he has been doing recently on several wells. So until someone proves otherwise I'll be listening to his opinion on it.

My friend said he would run a new set of logs in the cased well to make sure you get the right location to do the perforation compared to the previous logs, because your not doing it from the rig this time round. Run in the perforation equipment & perforate the lowest zone of interest. Then run in 3 inch tubing to below the perforations possibly as much as 100ft below, but we have no idea how close to the bottom of the casing the lowest DST zone was carried out, so this might not be possible. He would put in a pumping unit to pump the water up the tubing. The reason for this is to lower the hydrostatic pressure as much as possible. This will then allow the gas to come up the "backside" of the well to surface. He called it a type of "rat hole" but that seems to be a very common term & seems to have lots of different meanings.

I haven't said anything about what the flow rates might be, simply that's it doesn't need that much equipment to actually do it.

Very little equipment is needed in this case for an EWT, no oil being produced so you don't need a separator like that etc.

Very simple set-up required.

Desert Eagle are a private company & have a working Helium extraction facility (probably rented/lease) & there well's are flowing at the sort of rates reported for Itambula West-1 (or lower).

Personally shocked by the share price performance since the announcement.

Well done to those that stuck with it.

If there's the slightest negativity in the next announcement, I hate to think what the downside is going to look like thou.

I'm not interested in the "party line" or company spin, I just want facts.

The only possible long lead item I can think of for the well test would be for the wellhead itself but there is no way that should take that length of time to acquire & bring in country.

The presentation & Webinar would allow us to see the full results of the 3 DST's, where they were within the well, the amount of "net pay" they think they have, well pressures & the actual flow rates per zone (rather than a put together number).

Things you'd normally expect to see in an RNS but which the company has decided to hide from its shareholders.

I beg to differ, " replacement/spare parts for the drill" have nothing to do with an EWT.

What exactly are these "long lead items for the EWT" ?

High time the company organised a "Investor Meet Company webinar " so that we can get a full update on current events along with an up to date presentation & the ability to get answers to the questions that remain unanswered. Like why they are having to wait until Q3 to do this EWT.

Thanks for the story, helps explain the return of the UCLA route at Salvador that's gone missing the past few month's.

Only 4 ships on the list & one of them has been cancelled & No ships listed after 3rd April.

So will wait to see if this actually firms up or turns out to be another on/off route.

For the record UCLA has been on the Salvador list of routes for many years, it only dropped off it a few months back.

Have you actually done a bit of research on this Avanti ?

There's no news items on there website since Oct 2023.

They are only going to be processing 10 MMCFGD once the plant is up & running (possibly in the next few weeks) & then they are intending to upgrade it to handle 15 MMCFGD in early 2025.

So they are not capable of doing the 20 MMCFGD you talked about this well testing at.

If you look at there presentation, the said prospect is a 3 well job. In other words not large in size. They expect it to produce between 153,000 & 404,000 cubic feet of Helium in total. That's 0.15 BCF - 0.4 BCF

Flow rate, concentration of Helium & reserves all play a part in deciding what is & isn't worthwhile trying to exploit.
