My friend said he would run a new set of logs in the cased well to make sure you get the right location to do the perforation compared to the previous logs, because your not doing it from the rig this time round. Run in the perforation equipment & perforate the lowest zone of interest. Then run in 3 inch tubing to below the perforations possibly as much as 100ft below, but we have no idea how close to the bottom of the casing the lowest DST zone was carried out, so this might not be possible. He would put in a pumping unit to pump the water up the tubing. The reason for this is to lower the hydrostatic pressure as much as possible. This will then allow the gas to come up the "backside" of the well to surface. He called it a type of "rat hole" but that seems to be a very common term & seems to have lots of different meanings.

I haven't said anything about what the flow rates might be, simply that's it doesn't need that much equipment to actually do it.
