We certainly need more news & I'm sure it will be coming pretty soon !

I do think there is some connection to the stuff we are finding at the moment, that Justin Wright sign has Mirriad written all over it, plus the name on the bottom of it & 2 Mirriad employees commenting on it.

What that connection & use are for, is yet to be determined but hopefully it helps the company generate lots of revenue.

I don't know if you've looked at this 2phevs, but if you go to advfn & look at today's trades for Mirriad, beside the name you'll see a sort of logo !

I'm not sure when that one 1st appeared to be honest ( I think its very recent), but look at the colour scheme ! exactly the same as Universal ads, & the font Mirriad has been using for a little while now looks the same to me as well !

We can only speculate as to why the rise didn't hold.

Some people will have been positioning themselves for this news since mid December & thus will have banked a near 100% profit, (yes they might have hoped for more)

The deal was structured to look complex & kind of try & make people focus on the $15M number & then add in the other numbers. When in reality the $15M is to pay TRP's share of the well cost!

They could have just said TRP was getting a free carry to the value of $15M & was getting X amount in cash, but that would have clearly shown everyone that they were only getting a little cash from this farm-out & a chunk of it is required to pay for other things like the seismic!

Many other factors as well, like who is trading it, who wants in, the number of share holders the company already has & how many of them want to top-up (to average down) or not etc etc.

The placing shares don't need churned through, they went to the CEO & the company he is connected with. They are also in a 1 year lock-up period so they'll have no short or medium term impact on the share price

They (the CEO etc) did very well out of this new deal, they got over 20% of TRP at a fixed price of 0.027p per share, in return for giving up a tiny % of the amount of "profit oil" they would have been entitled to.

The Long term shareholders got ripped off yet again.

Yet again people simply don't stop & think!

At least 7 people think that 7.2 Billion shares traded is close to 30% of the company!

For goodness sake, there are now effectively 30 Billion shares in issue.

For a share to change hands it has to go from Seller to MM & then from MM to buyer in a separate trade (S - MM - B) so you need to half the volume figure to get the true number of shares that have changed hands. Which is 3.6 Billion shares, which is roughly 12% of the company.

2p minimum really !

With 30 Billion shares in issue now ( not to mention warrants options etc that would be converted as well) at 2p = £600M valuation.

That's without the company needing to raise any more cash in the meantime. Yes the $15M should hopefully cover the cost of drilling the well, as long as things go to plan, if they don't then they'll need additional cash to finish the drilling testing etc.

Dilution kills long term dreams.

Sounds like he was a good (ideal) person to try this out & see the benefits of it or not & give honest feedback to Mirriad.

Given all the other stuff they are working on, this must be quite important for multiple staff to be interacting with it !

Watch this space I guess, & add it to the list of things that haven't been announced yet!

I'll let you dig into it deeper :)

I just thought it was a really strange 1st post by a Mirriad employee who's been there over 3 & a half years & this is her first shared post & comment.

Then you look at her job title & role etc & you think hmm interesting, then you see the insert which absolutely has Mirriad written all over it (so to speak - like 99% certain to be there work).

Then you have PM commenting on it, which seemed very strange & then lastly I spotted the individual name at the bottom of the insert & it had me almost immediately thinking of Shopify.

I didn't know this Mr J Wright was an ex board member !

If this type of promotion is going to help his business etc, then the savvy thing for him to do would be to be buying a few shares at the same time.

I'll wait to see what else you find, but I'm guessing this was Mirriad testing something new out !!!

I mean personalised inserts ! :) which is something I had thought of previously & if you think about some of the stuff said on the Universal ads interview about the small business's this could make sense.

Anyway just more to ponder in the meantime.

Do you think that is a VPP ad of some kind, given the person's name is at the very foot of it on the external structure !

Are they perhaps testing things that might be useful for "Shopify" customers on a much smaller scale, yet easy to do & positive cash generative if you did them ?

I hope there not cutting things too fine on the staffing front.

I guess it kind of makes sense to some extend if you think about all the major players now collaborating for Universal-ads rather than going it alone & having to find a solution for each one as they talked about in the interview.

On the Canela front I think putting Mirriad's name in the job details is kind of standard for them now! Although I'm sure it means a lot of people hunting around wondering what the heck "Mirriad" is as they've probably never heard of it "Youtube" they will all know instantly.

Still zero activity from SB, yet Mirriad is gaining a few more followers each day at the moment.

Yes the USA side of that sector has been having a hard time of it, as per the trading update.

However I'm aware of at least 4 things that are going on in the background & the info is in the public domain, yet Mirriad even with this update hasn't mentioned any of them !

One of the top 5 USA media companies name appears on a Mirriad presentation - all the others are known to have signed agreements that have been announced its one hasn't yet its name is there (the biggest player is still in talks with Mirriad & its name is not on the list - just for context)

The Bill Gates (Benlabs) announcement looks to be a big deal for Mirriad ( it just isn't material because it won't involve one giving the other money, its just mutually beneficial to both by the doors it opens to the advertisers who are the ones who spend the $)

I'm into Mirriad (MIRI) big time now just over 14M shares or about 1.4% of the company.

I hope you've both got it on your watch lists, its going to be an interesting few months that's for sure, you either believe its going to succeed or you don't & the end is near. I'm a firm believer in MTH.

I saw lots of early morning TM1 posts & thought I'd have a quick look in !

Looks like they are giving you a hard time again, when they shouldn't been, someone needs to keep it factual & keep the company in check.

I see the company can't issue any more shares without getting shareholder consent to do so & that's just after there AGM which means they'll end up having to call an EGM to do so (at the expense of shareholders of course not out of the directors own pockets - where it should come from due to their stupidity).

Atlas have the upper hand & as soon the board do (or try to do) something they don't like they will simply force there hand, given how much debt they can convert into shares.

I guess the 1st thing they will be looking for is volume to churn through those 70M & get them spread out.

I mean NTC did an amazing job doing effectively the same thing with ENET but on a bigger scale (percentage shareholding wise) 3 times in a very short period of time, so it is possible given the right conditions.

That is very much one of the scenario's that the agreement will cover & makes perfect sense.

Very much like something that I remember reading just the other day possibly in regard to Rembrand, where they talked about Dunkin Donuts in the USA & replacing them with another name like |Horton or such like for Canada.

If you think about it PP only works if you are selling that same brand in the country your broadcasting it in. So if you sell the same product under a different name in another country your completely losing out as there is no brand infinite there. Do some VPP & change the product name & bingo you have that connection with the viewer back :) & the multinational gets the chance to monetise it once more.

If the content is being viewed in a country where the company doesn't sell the product, then the content producer has the chance to monetise the production with another company who does sell a similar product in that country! hence why location details will be key from that point of view :)

The options are a free bonus to the institution, a no lose outcome.

The trials succeed & the share price rockets at some point before march 2026, we'll the insto is happy as it is guaranteed to get 50,000 shares at £5 (still less than the price the day the consolidation was announced (£6)

If the share price doesn't make £5 or goes lower the insto just lets the options lapse & can buy shares cheaper in the market if it so chooses.

The option is the company giving the insto a further reason to pay up for the placing on top of the health discount to the last trade price it got!
