We would love to hear your thoughts about our site and services, please take our survey here.
Does it not seem as though a big order is being filled? The trades today, for example are such that I would have thought the sp might drop but that hasn't happened (yet!!).
Wtfdik, though!?
Another time, maybe, C&B and I can buy you a Guinness in the Miners before a game?
I'm not sure where your daughter works but me and Mrs LoB will be in the Centenary Lounge on the Longside (can I still call it that?)
I have to say I'm one of the supporters of the current board at Burnley and Alan Pace in particular. If he ever gets fed up at Turf Moor, perhaps he could become a NED at AAU and give Kerim a hand!!!??!
Enjoy the game on Saturday and, yes, another 3 points would be very pleasant.
Sorry to others on the board for unbridled Burnley chat - normal service to resume with more AAU conversation.....
I'm not expecting another divi any time soon....although I am hoping the sp perks up a bit with a little more regular (good) news.
C&B - I am going on this weekend, funnily enough. I'm doing the full hospitality thing as a treat to myself for my 60th birthday! Never done the prawn sarnie thing before but using credit from Mr Pace buying my one share in BFC to go for the full-on pie and peas (not sure if they'll get any prawns in for me) extravaganza
Appreciate your (P1D) and your fellow Potteries-types kind donation to the Burnley resurrection fund.
Happy New Year to all on here
Translates to around 16-17p within 5 years, Florence, do you reckon?
I'm here for the long (ish) haul. I can wait up to 5 years...........as long as they do deliver eventually (which I think they will...or be bought....or bought back by the family)
All good, thanks, John. I hope the same with you/yours.
Great to hear from you, too, C&B. Sounds like you're back to full match fitness - at least I hope so - if you're going on t'Turf tomorrow in the freezing cold???!!!?!?! I'm making the trip back up north for the Cov game in early Jan. At least watching the Clarets tends to be more fun than watching the AAU sp right ow.
Anyhow, Happy Christmas to you both (as well as to all the other posters on here...yes, even you Paul (the most, let's say, challenging poster on here).
Only got a paltry amount of cash available to buy more. I've just pitched in for another 15000.......if I had more spare cash I'd be buying more at these crazy (imho) prices.
Only good news is it looks like the latest seller might be out of the way and we can head back towards 10p and beyond...
I agree entirely with your post, oogle....disgraceful is the word....
So, what IS going on? Surely an RNS is due to explain the recent enormous trades. That's another 20 m shares sold just this morning. Who is the big seller? Is there still an overhang?
Come on - this silence is deafening!!!
....seems to have done the trick for now.
I can't quite see how the fundamentals justify the low sp and that steady drift down. Maybe we'll see a return to a more sensible (justified?) sp going forward.
As an aside, I wonder if Rivaldo is still around. His/her posts were usually very informative.....
Well, I'm less pessimistic, oogle. I think we will get back into double figures. Unless I'm missing something (which might well be the case), I haven't seen a worthy justification for why the sp has been tanking i.e. a fundamental problem with the business (model).
As I say, I may be wrong but the price dropped low enough for me to have a cheeky top-up at just below 7p this afternoon (although I'm still averaging at a tad under 13p so seriously under water).
Well, what happened there in late trading?????
Looks like about 70mil shares sold. Let's hope that's the big seller out of the way now and normal service resumes next week.
I presume an RNS will follow on Monday morning?
Good weekend all.
Hey dj - I think the BoD have been selling enough shares to then (effectively) pay for the balance of the share options i.e. in effect grow their shareholding for free.
If I'm wrong I'm sure others - or you, perhaps - will correct me.
Hope all else is good Stateside.....elections coming up worrying/exciting times?
To be fair, mine all came through reasonably handy this morning.
Hope everyone else cash turns up sharpish.
So, a bit quiet on here after the interims RNS.
Are you reassured/confident in the strategy going forward or still too many unanswered questions. Kerim being a little more clear or is he still an advocate of the Trussonian 'honestly it WILL be alright'.
It'll be interesting to see how many buyers there are on Monday when those divis come through.
Good weekend, all.
My first reaction was 'what are the timescales (again)?'
As ever, it's OK saying 'progressing to production' but without an idea of timescales how can anyone be held to account......?
Still, I approve, too, John but with caveats.....
PS Clarets at West Brom tonight. Have I made it up but is that (loosely) your team, John?
All fine, John, thanks, apart from the malaise that is Ariana (well the malaise with the BoD, really).
I've stopped topping up as , like you, I need more information to make a more informed decision. Equally, I'm not selling, purely based on the back story built up over years which I still believe in (although my patience is being tested).
I suspect your last post has hit the nail on the head. Under-promise and overdeliver but only on the basic numbers rather than laying out (and being tested against) a longer term strategy.
Two things;
1. I love your unerring optimism, John (sarcastic emoji needed).....and, what I assume was a rhetorical question.
2. It's not often I agree with Paul but found myself unable to disagree with much of his latest posting. Gosh, it is a changing world we live in (apart from Ariana which seems to be stubbornly sticking to radio silence on key issues).
Good day, all........
Actually did make me chuckle, that, John.......
Seems some positive chat from the Investor Show. Mind you, why would it be anything otherwise (sorry to be so cynical). Thanks, anyway, for posting VanVan.
As for the Clarets - deserved nothing yesterday. Very poor show imho. Hope C&B is OK.....he doesn't seem to have been around much recently. Right, off to dust off my road map of the UK to remind myself of where Rotherham, Luton etc might be, in readiness for next season!
