You could always buy crypto-currencies, PT, such as Bitcoin.
No EPS (earnings per share or early production system) or P/E ratio or dusters to worry about.
A completely useless piece of virtual nothingness that produces no earnings, is completely worthless, and has a massive following.
People have made fortunes buying it, while we've been investing in oil exploration.

I've been here five years so far, so another two will make seven.
Just hope we don't emerge just in time for a stock market / oil price slump.
However, oil exploration shares do appear to be cyclical and, assuming they have bottomed, the bottom was hit only in the last two years or so.
Normally, that would mean we are a long way from the next slump.

The P/E ratio is notional and an indication of how cheap the shares could be if HUR stopped spending on exploration.

With the value that that spending could add, the shares should be even cheaper.

I said a long time ago that only two things worry me: a possible stock market crash and a possible oil price slump.

I stopped worrying about the company a long time ago.

Actually, Daltry, my original idea was a freeze lasting about two years.

The idea is to miss all the ups and downs and fears, emerge from the freeze refreshed, and only AFTER breakfast check the share price.
