hoping to get near 4 Billion bought and cancelled this year (50p average) but I am sure that many shareholders will want UBS not to be able to purchase as many with the money

Excellent results - have been a shareholder for over a decade and no doubt will be holding some still for the next decade + - I hold at a low average price

Yes,so an investor purchasing at 52p is paying a lot less than book value.
