NO,nothing like- the market gives a valuation to Lloyds bank on a daily basis which is not dependant upon dividends that have been paid - I thought as an investor you would have known that.

People as an answer can be given the amount of shares that have been removed and thus showing the benefit.

The gain is noting and accumulating the share numbers that have been bought and cancelled, and thus showing the benefit of share buybacks. Looking at the shares in issues does not show you the benefit of the share repurchase programmes. There are 10 Billion fewer shares on the market than otherwise have been the case - how many more times?

that is good and good that you have changed to ''everything that I need to know''

but it is not everything that others need to know. Some of us wish to know the benefit of share repurchases and the only way to know that is to know how many have been bought and cancelled - so far about 10 Billion. So instead of currently having about about 65.5 Billion shares, there would have been about 75.5 Billion shares on the market.

So when it is stated the effect of the share buybacks, there is no need each time for you to say that the number of shares currently on the market is all YOU need to know.

Simply post you graph each month if you wish to show it.

Lloyds bank are not saving money - bank outgoings/expenses would be the same regardless of any share repurchases. Those outgoings aimed at shareholders would mean that more money per share would be available as otherwise would have been the case.

according to you in a number of past posts,they would never need to pay out more than 5% maximum,so you personally would not be expecting any increase in dividend at H1.
