''curious now as to whether to sell down/take some profits from LBG?''
that depends on how many shares you have and your view on future price level possibilities.
I have made sales several times on the way up, not because I thought that they were overpriced at any stage, but because I have a lot from buying at very low prices. Despite this I still retain the vast majority of peak number of shares. The market will decide of price levels no matter what an individuals contrary view is. I thought Lloyds was at give away prices near the 40p level where the market kept it for a a long time, hence a lot of buying, but as I said at the time I didn't mind how low the share price went. We have had a good run with share buybacks being conducted at good value prices.
