you should do some research before making such statements.
The current buyback is for a 3 month period.
The share count in a 12 month period has been reduced from over 19 Billion to under 18 Billion, and the share count the year before was also reduced by a very good amount. Based on the current market cap, without buybacks the price per share would be a lot lower.
