Getting rid of the human rights act would prevent judges getting involved with the removal of the unwanted.

The logical opposite to your concerns about reducing government finances with increased thresholds would be having a zero threshold for tax wouldn't it.

precisely - investors/gamblers need to do some hard thinking. It seems to me that all this money raising is simply giving about 5 people a good income. For example Jonathan Owen on a six figure income - he and the several others that make up MET1 will be doing well from people pumping money to them no matter what.

Only gamble with an amount where you are comfortable with losing 100% of it.

I would be surprised if a penny in profit is made in the next 5 years, or ever.
