That seems a fair reading of the Petros July 24 news release Dfg and there hasn't been anything official regarding SK334 to the contrary since, as far as I'm aware. The only glimmer of hope for something sooner at SK334 in my opinion is Abang Johari's comment regarding the potential drilling of an exploration well in 2025 which he made in October 23, but time is running out on that.

There could be a development regarding Brunei in the meantime though which would also have been 'years in the making'.

How far off do the rumblings feel?

Waiting game can't go on forever, but SP stagnation in the meantime is inevitably leading to disinterest and a certain malaise.

The 'developments' that have been years in the making can only mean a contract award or awards at this stage and I'm looking for any meaningful update on this ... including an actual award of course.

I've been holding out this year for an exploration license at least for SK334 Sarawak, but Block L Brunei could be the front runner now in terms of timeline - the groundwork by Upland in Brunei also goes back years.

I'm banking on UBO securing an exploration well contract at least in the next six months.

Interesting; only 27 days notice last year.

Also noted at the time that Annual Report was filed one day before the deadline this year, which was a turnaround compared to recent years.
