Only because the options all vest immediately on a change in ownership. I personally lost thousands of options in a company because the options hadn’t vested yet when it changed hands. Company was bought out and that was it. They actually vested 20Pct a yr and we were about 60 days from another yr when the deal was done and the purchasing co decided to count those and we received them. But none of the future yrs.

Since these don’t vest 100 pct until June, 2024, I think it’s safe to say no sale before then.

Newt, with all due respect, why are we NOW looking at contracting a hot rig? Couldn’t that have been done months ago? Maybe I’m wrong. Also you say we have spent $250M to date. What has Falcon received for this? For giving up 77.5pct of the permits? I’m curious as to what happens to the voting rights to Viktors shares if a takeover were attempted? Are they deleted from the equation completely? I can’t imagine a worse scenario than the Sheffield taking this private and then hitting big.

Sounds like the short window we had of all the stars outside the company aligning has now closed. I’m still not sure what Falcon has accomplished since the moratorium? The (by most accounts ) failed Kyalla well? The re-declaration of the Amungee flow rates because of the blockage from pre moratorium?
What else? I guess getting Sheffield to buy in is a positive. Trying to come up with more?

It really is amazing that 22 was supposed to be THE year and now I don’t know that we will get these two wells done. The lack of urgency is mind blowing as another year goes by with very little done and we will soon start hearing about the rainy season. No need to tell me about the risk involved, or to sell and go buy something else. I’m in this until it’s resolved one way or another. The worldwide sentiment is unlikely to get better however, than it is right now. DP is probably right in that we have several more years to go here.

UB. I’m not sure why they would be obligated to announce securing a rig but a little more info would be nice. It would be nice to speed things up. Rainy season is coming soon!

Frankly I hope you’re right. Let Sheffield make an offer after the two wells. (Provided at least the $1/share) Maybe it sets off a bidding war. I would prefer they bought it with stock from one of their organizations and then long term shareholders could make a choice to take some well deserved return and also possibly leave some in the game. 2022 was supposed to be “the” year. Now I’m hoping we get these two wells done w 90 day flow rates.

Most of us have been here long enough to understand the investment. I don’t care what you think of anything frankly. And no, I don’t have a crystal ball but whatever the return is, any return, is less given a longer time span. That’s pretty basic. I’m done talking to you. Good luck.

TD. I think you miss the entire point on your response about the $16K. Also, assuming the end game is the same regardless, every year that goes by your “great return” goes down.

Hydro. We’re trading a million shares a day in the US recently. Stock is not going up. There is plenty of stock.

Hydrogen, there are plenty of shares for the Sheffield a to buy. There are a billion shares out there (and probably more to come) and they’re cheap and easily available.

So now we’re talking about 2024?? Starting work in May, shutting down in Nov. I don’t see anything in here that makes me think this thing will be sold anytime soon. I also am still amazed at how little work gets done in this industry. Hope I’m wrong.
