We clearly wanted to end the year by reclaiming our spot on the top loser board on Google again. Hopefully it's this stocks last flirtation with it and next year it will become a regular on the top gainers board instead, there's a lot of ground to make up

I can't believe 888 has had a better week than we have here. We're running neck and neck today and I thought that was a riskier bet (excuse the pun), incredible.

Well we're out of the 120-122 range now. Not in the way we wanted to be though.

This has been going on for over a year and anything hidden would have had to be divulged by now due to trading regulations.

Surely this is indicative of it being manipulated through sells so large buyers and/or shorts closing are able to get the price they want?

Thanks all and sorry for hijacking the thread. To me it appeared to be more profitable than NEX right now, but with a greater risk due to increased regulation and scrutiny from past failings.

I'm pleased it seems others are of the same mindset.

I only talk NEX here, but hopefully I've earned just one exception as I value the views of people here and appreciate that if I post on the direct page the responses will be biased.

I'm considering a position in 888 and wondered if I'm losing my mind or others agree that this is a potential recovery play?

How up to date is that one Paddy? Only seems to have financial data up to 2021 unless I'm misreading it

Thanks WT, this looks like a good site, but seems to suggest that just over 11% of shares are with institutions? I thought it was around 95%

There's so much differing information out there, PIs don't stand a chance.

It's like that site I asked for feedback on earlier, that seemed to suggest there have been approximately 120m institutional trades in the last 2 months. I don't even think we've had that amount in total trading volume have we?

Thanks MM. I still think they wouldn't have agreed to participate if they would be running WM at a loss which is what some of the doom mongers had suggested about the increased salaries.

Which site did you find that on WT? That would explain the challenge we've had overcoming 140 if they are all sat around that level

Does anyone know much about the accuracy of morningstar? Josey share some stats from there recently and it's the first time I've looked up the site.

It suggested that in February there were over 60m institution trades here and the same in March, but that doesn't sound right to me. It also didn't seem to register the trades we saw recently where there were RNS issued so I'm questioning the validity of their data. It appears to be a reputable site though.

It could even be the extension of this was part of the renegotiation with the West Midlands contracting authority.

I mean the large trades that are then reversed, rather than the price (which is actually more ludicrous than puzzling). I just don't understand how they happen and the purpose of them.
