'I heard Melody turned Glastonbury down'
LOL. We've had some very obviously made up, cloud cuckoo land rampy nonsense on this board over the last year or so, but that might be the best yet. Tremendous.
You're wasting your time if you're expecting this company to communicate consistently, coherently and/or competently (that's a lot of c's...) with its shareholders Max. I don't get the impression that the CEO is a fan of having to justify his decisions and actions, in turn opening them up to scrutiny or criticism.
"Caught you again Londondan"
You couldn't catch a cold fella. The subject of this thread, which you started, is 'Who Are Drift?' Utterly clueless, as ever.
Mooney - I'm definitely not averaging down any further. It's good money after bad at this point.
"Come on Londondan, answer it"
Haha! Imagine thinking that you have the authority to demand anything of anyone. For the avoidance of doubt, you don't.
There's no point throwing another multi-post tantrum because you've been made to look silly again. If you're going to do some research on Driift, I suggest you go a little further than just copy & pasting the dictionary definition of the word 'drift'.
Lol, yes I thought I'd get a stroppy, pathetic response like that.
Stay on topic and leave out the personal insults, or don't bother commenting at all. Either is fine.
"Derampers would say that this is approx 4 times smaller than the Driift's number."
Not just 'derampers'; I think mathematicians and those with access to calculators would probably agree...
"Just because some events are now going ahead does not mean MVR/Napster are going to cover any of them and no, they will not be covering Glastonbury, that's is a fact (BBC have them rights)."
HG you're right about this of course. Although, Glastonbury is also broadcasting a live-streamed event this weekend. Needless to say we're nothing to do with it, but can you guess which streaming company is? I'll give you a clue - they have a new partnership with Spotify and Albert has never heard of them.
Our 'great partners' O2 are involved as well...

"What seems clear is that nine months after Melody/Napster was announced Spotify have come up with a pale imitation."
A pale imitation of what exactly? We have an unsuccessful VR app which the CEO can't decide whether or not he's keeping, and a third-rate streaming service that is currently being redeveloped. In terms of streaming concerts, Spotify and Driift are competing with LiveNation and Veeps. We are an irrelevant afterthought, still banging on about that one Liam Gallagher gig that went fairly well once upon a time.
The fact that you haven't heard of Driift, or indeed are yet to learn how to spell the name of the business, is a reflection of the quality of your 'research', rather than being anything to do with their success as a company I'm afraid.
"Now Spotify is making its move into livestreams too. It’s calling them “virtual concert experiences” and is working with British firm Driift."
Oh FFS. Of course they've partnered with Driift, because Driift actually seem to know what they're doing. Yet again we're left in the dust, having completely surrendered a first-mover advantage. How this CEO still has a job is anyone's guess.
Meanwhile it's rumoured that Spotify is about to join Apple and a few other streaming services in announcing its 'HiFi' lossless service, so that's something Napster is going to have to ensure it implements in order to keep up as well.
This company is absolutely going to be left behind.
Mooney I completely agree with you. Anyone who has been in here a while has heard all this 'jam tomorrow' rubbish from the CEO many times before. We also remember that he's continually failed to create any meaningful value here, despite numerous opportunities to do so. Investors are wise to it now, save for a few of the faithful on this board, which is why all this latest bluster hasn't moved the share price an inch.
Don't get me started on the blockchain/NFT stuff. Yet another flavour of the month pipe dream that we shouldn't be chasing until the fundamentals are in place.
"May was supposed to be the turning point marketing/promotion month"
Indeed. It's now May 13th and we've had one rampy, soft ball interview on a niche investor site so far. Given the extent of this PR juggernaut, I can't believe we're not back at 15p yet...
"He needs to send us a postcard from a Caribbean island which is where he will possible go after being thrown out."
Mind you, that soft ball, rampy interview from the other day seemed to inspire a little bit of price movement. Hopefully he can string a few more of those together this month and pump the price up enough for me to get out of this dog once and for all.
Lol, two stroppy posts, 6 minutes apart. Rattled. Dry your eyes petal, you'll win one at some point.
Enjoy the Bank Holiday all! Let's hope May is a better month for this share than April was.
Lol. Well no one’s here because they’re making any money in NAPS, that’s for sure. Watching Albert get his pants pulled down every few days passes the time at least.
I accept your concession.
"As you say, it's not too difficult for me - I know the answer anyway."
Evidently not. You're struggling, so I'll give you a clue - it started two company names ago. In your own time...
Sigh. It's been posted here dozens of times Albert - you asked a silly question, so now you can make my point for me.
What was John Gore's buy-in? Is it close to today's 2p share price, or is a long, long, long way off that? Do you think his investment could therefore reasonably be considered 'deep underwater'?
Come on, this shouldn't be too difficult, even for you.
"I'm still waiting !"
Some of us have other things going on in our lives. You clearly don't.
What was JG's buy-in price and what is the share trading at today? Provide those two numbers and let's see who else thinks that his investment could reasonably be considered to be 'deep underwater'.
Given that our recent 'shareholder update' presentation didn't contain a single mention of our supposed great partner (and deep underwater investor) John Gore, this sounds a bit like wishful thinking. But then, given that there's no tangible good news to be had here, I can hardly blame people for resorting to that.
