The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
"But you're not called the Master of Misinfo for nothing."
Or indeed, at all. If you're going to make up snide nicknames for your fellow forum users, at least have the decency to be witty.
How much have you lost here Albert? It must be a tidy sum for you to still be this wound up about it all.
And you apparently don't know what Google is either. This explains a lot.
"Let's have a link to FT (2015) then. Whatever that is."
I don't think it will come as a surprise to anyone here that you don't know what the FT is.
You must be joking. How will I know how the COO of the Broadway League is and how beneficial she's going to be for Napster, if I'm not here reading your galaxy-brained insight each week?
Great post ORLM. It'll be interesting to revisit this in 6 or 12 months, to see how it has played out. I strongly suspect you'll be proven right.
"I've just been trying to work out..."
Don't overstretch yourself. Your previous attempts at coherent thought haven't gone particularly well.
"Albert I believe you said at one point the first show was in the can?"
He says a lot of things. I'd recommend ignoring them all.
"We are all aware of the points raised time and time again; it gets boring reading the same nonsense from the same people"
I agree with this, but I suspect we have different people in mind...
"Hope you get the entry price you so desperately crave"
At this rate you'd only need to wait another 6 - 12 months and you'd be able to buy the whole company for less than the value of the last bonus the CEO awarded himself.
Got anymore links from the 'Broadway League' you'd like to share with us? You've gone awfully quiet on that front lately. Can't imagine why...
"This board is about Napster BTW. A company which you are totally clueless about."
Rather rich coming from someone who has been consistently and repeatedly wrong about this company since day one. I can't be bothered to trawl through your various proclamations about Melody/Napster and its prospects in theatre for instance, but I'd advise others to do so if they'd like to see what clueless really looks like.
Oh dear. So at 5.5p, they fell rather short of the £1 - £2 that he was ranting about. Thanks - as I say, a useful guide as to whether or not we should be listening to those who claim to know what they're talking about here.
I'm not familiar with the Sirius Minerals story Offler. Did Christopher's 2019 prediction of "This will be a £1 -£2 share within 2-3 years. Mark my words" come to fruition? I think it's helpful to understand whether his bold proclamations are likely to be worth listening to here...
"I fear the security of the telegram group is skewing investors' impression of the current state of affairs?"
Echo chambers tend to have that effect.
Good to see you back here MrH. I've missed your particular brand of baseless speculation and unjustified optimism...
"A troll might invent something but they don't want it to succeed anyway"
This is a very flimsy and transparent way of trying to preempt any criticism of your blind optimism. The big question, which remains unanswered, is what will this app offer that isn't already provided elsewhere in the market?
Everyone here is praying that the now-delayed app will magically turn Napster's fortunes around. The reality is that unless they have something material to tempt people away from Spotify, Apple, Amazon, Tidal, Deezer et al, they'll continue to be a bit player in an already crowded market. Bolting Melody's outdated and unsuccessful catalogue on to a generic music streaming service isn't going to cut it.
There's a reason the share price is in the toilet. The market has clocked that there could well be another fundraise, and thus further death spiral dilution, before this gets any better.
"And this will have to include any curves the CMA might throw at it."
More baseless speculation, as is your stock in trade.
There's no schadenfreude here Italian. Although I admire your optimism in assuming that the company's ongoing silence is due to a 'social media embargo' and not just due to the rank incompetence that has defined this management team over the last few years. The triumph of hope over experience, I fear.
Offler, I wouldn't waste your time with Albert. He's wrong all the time, but bless him he keeps plugging away regardless.
The NME article you mentioned does refer to 'Live Here Now' hosting the stream, as indeed does their own website - https://liveherenow.co.uk/
Of course, it's less relevant because Napster/Melody doesn't really do live concerts anymore. Nor did it ever manage to get into theatre. It's now just a third tier music streaming service with a delayed app and a rapidly dwindling cash pile.
Good post Rumfuddle. Timely as well, as this dog continues its inexorable slide towards failure. Mind you, there aren't many true believers left on here now. Hardly surprising.
