The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
He posts that kind of meaningless nonsense all the time. Safe to ignore.
All good points GS. Difficult to disagree with you.
"Amazingly you got three 'recommends'"
Lol, wrong again Al. You're not great at this pal, maybe quit while you're miles and miles behind.
Maxdba - those metrics are eye-opening. I'd guess that the app download numbers tell a similar story. Of course, that was supposed to be why we were kicking off a 'major marketing campaign' from May onwards. Unfortunately that currently seems to consist of a few misspelled Instagram posts under the MelodyVR name. Not ideal.
"To me, you are just impatient gits, who want to poke what ever you can behind the mask of anonymity. What heroes you are."
Settle down snowflake. Other people are allowed to have views which differ from yours - I'm sorry it hurt your feelings to see opposing views expressed on here. Maybe try and toughen up a bit.
These people have been saying 'knock down prices' for ages now. Despite this, it just keeps getting lower.
"Do you all work together? Who for?"
Don't start with this lazy conspiracy nonsense. Things are bad enough here without all the 'paid derampers' junk starting up.
The latest MelodyVR 'story' on Instagram, which explains the difference between 'Shows', 'Originals' and 'Journeys', contains a major typo and two separate formatting errors. Quite the achievement really, given that there probably aren't 50 words in the whole thing.
Amateurish, half-arsed, poorly thought through. Like literally everything else this company does.
1.5p seems highly likely at this rate, from which point those of us who 'averaged down' to 3p need a bag just to break even. Those who bought way, way higher are already likely to be too far underwater to be salvageable. There are still a handful of them posting here, although even the rampiest few have dramatically slowed down their output.
I'm in the same camp as horse.mouth - write it off as a loss and assume it's going to zero at some point.
"come on folks, no point having a go at each other"
It's all good fun. I admire him really - he doesn't let things like having a room temperature IQ get in the way of his ham-fisted attempts at humour.
It's not the VR competitors we now need to worry about unfortunately. With music streaming we're now in an extremely competitive and well-funded market.
If we were being charitable, we could say that the promises about a big marketing campaign kicking off have underwhelmed a little thus far. The app can't afford to underwhelm in the same fashion. It needs to land on time, on budget and to seriously impress the market. Our current share price suggests that the market isn't confident about this team's ability to deliver a truly game changing offering.
Your latest petulant little post was rather light on examples of anything that might prove me wrong. We both know why that is.
Got any more theories for us on our IR company's 'M&A file'? It's been a while since we all had something to laugh about on here...
"Has anyone seen anything significant outside of the investor presentation?"
In short, no.
Yes, dreadful as expected, which won't surprise anyone. Not likely to make a big difference though I wouldn't have thought, given it's pre-Napster.
Lol, whilst any group set up because of alleged 'paid derampers' on here is bound to be guaranteed comedy gold, I can't be bothered downloading Telegram for the pleasure. Let me know when someone starts a 'sack the CEO and appoint someone capable of running this business properly, for the benefit of its shareholders' group.
Agreed Mooney. McNulty paints a grim but realistic picture about just how badly the leadership team have screwed up with this financing. Yet another symptom of the inexperienced management we have here.
They, and by extension we as shareholders, have been well and truly taken for a ride.
"Do you have anything insightful to say"
Well I was going to post a load of pie in the sky, baseless speculation about M&A and a potential 'take out', but I see you covered that over the weekend. Ho hum.
Yes, another roaring day on the markets for this unstoppable juggernaut. Must be the shockwaves from that industry-changing marketing campaign they launched last month.
You have to laugh.
You must have me confused with your tutor. Whilst you'd clearly benefit from some further education, you're not going to find it here flower.
It's a well known phrase. Look it up. As with the various instances of your poor research and market understanding, we're not here to spoonfeed you.
"What does it mean exactly ??"
I don't think I've ever encountered anyone who wears their bovine ignorance as a badge of honour quite like you do Albert. Pretty extraordinary really.
"I know I was certainly still hopeful that they'd drop something today too."
The triumph of optimism over experience unfortunately.
"we are not allowed to say we turned it down on here"
Of course you are. Just don't be surprised when you then get ridiculed for making stuff up, which is exactly what you're doing.
