Hi Jerry, I was looking into the GDXJ purchase criteria and it did make me think that they will buy a big chunk at the next balancing that follows the extra shares coming onto the market. I am of course assuming that the share price doesn't fall below the 4.8p offer price - but even if it was exactly 4.8p, then the new MCap would be substantially bigger than what we had "pre deal" so should trigger a chunky buy???

Come on TM1 lets have some substantial news. The best news we've had recently was the highest throughput at the Recyclus factory.

There has been a lot of comment on the funding arrangement being the cause of the problems - the main problem has been first and foremost not making progress anywhere near fast enough. And due to the style of funding, that's a bad combination.

My maths ( and happy to be corrected ) says that Northern Star have a MCap of 18 Billion AUD, which is 9 Billion GBP.

For GGP to have a MCap of 9 Billion, using the potential approx 15 Billion shares that could be out there, that would be 62p per share.

And replace that dog with a Retriever.

Hi Dusty I'm the same - I worked out that the value of my TM1 shares are (now) 1% of my overall holdings - in the current climate there is a highly unlikely upside, but it's much much bigger than what's left of my downside......

Zoros / Mark two good comments with slightly differeng views - and I think that's what this is boils down to - it's a great deal on paper, but for current shareholders the delight or despondency is completely dependent on circumstances & perspective, and for most it's a mixture of the two. I take the glass half full angle - one of the things I've been most keen on was the "full control" of the company - decisions can be made and we arre not sitting around waiting for clearance from a Newcrest or a Newmont . I also like Mark's point about the ( more or less ) immediate cash flow. I think this is something that SD was keen on, and now that can be done in it's own time whilst milking Telfer for every last drop. As Zoros mentions, the elephant in the room is the 'cost' to existing shareholders. It is a hit, and may tarnish the overall deal for some, but I think we are genuinely at the turning point. I realise that many are here for decent multibags, but won't it be nice to start edging up and seeing blue on that investment and knowing there is an astonishing amount of growth potential for GGP but this time on what seems to be a much firmer footing?
