No idea but it's now created a strange anomaly for the 52wk high...

Lloyds unnarranged overdraft fees are horrendous, but I can't see many other banks with APRs much different.

Where are the figures to back this up please? Who is it that has low overdraft apr that can be shown is enticing customers away (once they've cleared their overdrafts of course) ? The last thing I read was that Lloyds had gained customers (although Halifax had lost some). I'm just after some numbers please.

MHO1, I posted this info from the Newmont update yesterday which may be of use regarding remedial work:

"During the second quarter, seepage points were detected on the outer wall and around the tailings storage facility at Telfer and we have temporarily ceased placing new tailings on the facility. Remediation of the facility has commenced and we expect production to commence during the fourth quarter of 2024"

This is the way to do it, I believe. Hold what you've got & accumulate when you feel there is an opportunity for a long term passive income. On this and any other profitable company.

At least this time, while there is always that niggly hope that something may be announced, the expectation is tempered somewhat. I certainly remember that time awaiting ASX news from Newcrest where they were supposed to updated the resource estimate - you know, the one where Sandeep's Havieron amnesia symptoms started to manifest themselves.

52 week high - is that the highest in about 4 years too?

The reason is that it's almost the same volume as the day's trading

What that trade / transaction is that's just come through, marked as taking place at 4.27 ? It's 49 million worth @ 59.36

That's the updated year I can receive my state pension so it will tie in nicely for me anyway

Zoom out 5 years and you've got a gradual fall from March 21 to October 22 with the covid backdrop.

From October 22, despite the peaks and troughs, it's a gradual rise to where it is now. I think it has much further to go. It's a long recovery but it is a recovery none the less.

Haven't posted in GGP for a little while but definitely feels like positive vibes at the moment....gold price being strong for one, but mainly it's a real sense that a decision on the divestment of Telfer & Havieron is near.

For me as a LTH, the news I want to hear is that Greatland are in control of their own destiny. Whatever the deal, it needs to be a reset & a true starting block for this company as a main player. I'm looking for FMG style progress over the next few years providing that there is a successful outcome at this stage. Lots of if's and but's but certainly not beyond the realms of possibility.

But Dusty, how much toxic waste have they processed over there so far THIS YEAR?? Tell me NOW, in kilograms or furlongs or hectares or amps?? I'm waiting....
