The two most likely possibilities are Con Majority or hung parliament. If you're so confident why don't you gamble on a hung parliament then you'll at least double your money. In that case t would also be a better investment in Lloyds which will bear the brunt of the stock market fall out that would follow.

Bookies have most likely outcome as Con Majority ( 4/11 ) and hung at 11/4 ( both approx ). So following the money would have you betting on a Con Majority

I don't think you have to worry about the church tax.....

My final amount was about £0.45 a share, once withholding tax / currency conversion had obliterated a good chunk.
I don't know the process to claim back tax ( I don't really own enough to make it worthwhile so never tried ) but from what I read from other posters last year it looks like it's a time consuming process. Someone else may be able to shed some light on that part.

I must just say that the research and analysis that many on this board do regarding GGP is the most informative and detailed I've seen for any share I've been watching or investing in. I have tended to invest in larger companies and the messages are usually dominated by individuals with their unsupported predictions of large price swings one way or the other, or they just go massively off topic. I am taking a back seat here but I am watching with great interest. I do have a medium investment due to so much positivity coming from many different quarters, be it the GGP company board, investors here, journalists and even competitors. I am going to continue my policy of adding gradually when I can, despite being tempted at times to be indiciplined when in receipt of favourable news! I will now retreat back into the shadows with only a little contribution here and there, but this is a thanks to all who provide such high quality regular updates.

Good comment, I agree. I completely understand that there are people who are in a more advantageous position than the average private investor to make money out of share price fluctuations, but at the end of the day ( I may be naive ) it's surely still supply and demand.

Agree - at least the institutional investors theoretically won't be in just for the short term - which is why the share price, in my view, will hold more than do anything much. Watch it go crazy one way or another now I've said that.

One other thing with EVR that I've had a niggle with is the debt - I'm not massively knowledgeable about the amount of debt companies can carry and what is viewed as manageable, but my question is where EVRs is on this scale. I believe that it has actually reduced slightly according to my understanding of the latest reports which is good ( if I'm correct! ) - and also the company sees fit to pay dividends out which implies there is no real concern.

I think the point made by Mark referring to the lack of tangible assets is a valid one.
I've entered this share, and reading most of the comments in isolation with no research would make me put all my investments here. However I have to have some kind of balance and whilst all the news and feedback does look incredibly promising, I am about 8% in. Whilst optimistic for a huge capital gain on this, it does not return me any money (dividends) at present and has a much higher element of risk than other shares. Coupled with this, it is also a long term project as far as I can see. I as much as anyone hope that the enthusiam on the board is matched by results.

Thanks for your answer longtime, apologies for the delay in my response - that makes sense, it was the wording in the RNS of "intending" to cancel which made me wonder whether they all get cancelled together at one point - but if they do it at the end of each batch then I can understand a small incremental effect on the SP hidden within the normal SP movement.

Can anyone tell me the answer to the following:
Looking at the LLoyds RNS, they are going through a period of buybacks. It says in each message that they "intend to cancel the shares" - does this mean that any impact on the shareprice is in line with any normal purchase, and at some point there is a specific cancellation date which may have a further affect? Or is any effect immediate?

@Hash, in my opinion I think you'll have made the right decision - I've not averaged down this time but I must admit I was sorely tempted to on a couple of occasions. I also agree that this should certainly be £10+, and I'm basing that on the simple fact that the results earlier were not a disaster - even if they were negative, they were certainly not bad enough to wipe the amount off the SP that it lost. I break even quite "high" ( around 9.50 ) but I am content with holding this.

I never thought I'd actually be pleased to see it at £8.10 - a few weeks back the same figure was depressing!

I think I'm going to review this one around April. @Hash suggested using my divi to reinvest at these low levels and I'm definitely considering that option - I think after April and Brexit ( providing there is certainty ) if it's still roughly around £8.00 then it will be one of a few options I have. I've got some LLOY (XD on 4th Apil) and a bit depends on that price too as I'd like the divi. I've found this share unusual in the sense that normally if something drops considerably I can see clear reasoning behind it, but the more I look at this I feel relatively positive about a substantial share price recovery at some point. It's not a good watch at the moment though!
