I'm enjoying being a shareholder in GGP - I've invested despite not being particularly au fait with the mining industry - in fact it's the first time I've invested in this sector. I'm learning all the time ( at least I think I am ) and for me, I feel can pick out the pertinent information to get a decent picture of the company, the direction and the potential. I do enjoy reading RiskReepReward as it makes me feel bright. And I still don't know what reep means.

which share price are you watching?

Trowtech I originally made the mistake of ignoring the fact you double your money when you win.
So thus out of the 200 goes, you win just slightly less than 100 times, but you DOUBLE your money on those turns.

Cheers TomE, I would of course be delighted if that happened - however I'm always fairly cautious. There are of course very positive signs. I had just wondered though whether the cut off for ( specifically ) Newcrest to decide on JVing for Scally would be lower due to the economies of having HAV relatively close by. I would assume it would be to a certain extent.

Hypothetical question - does anyone think if Scallwag returns some decent results but not mega-amazing, the level needed for Newcrest to pounce would be lower than if it was a standalone find, due to Havieron? A bit like the way that if you've already got Park Lane and Mayfair you may as well have Old Kent Road and Whitechapel?
